I ordered chicken & waffles. It literally took forever. I expected fried chicken & I ended up with chicken fingers. I mean it was good but it shouldn’t have taken as long as it did. The poor waitress & the owner had to ask where my food was multiple times.

Awesome diner in Overbook on Lancaster. Doesn't look like much from outside, but inside it's clean, bright, and inviting. They do a constant stream of takeout breakfasts, they are humping! I ordered the three stack of pancakes, with bacon. They have a wide variety of breakfast meats to choose from. Pricing is extremely decent, and our server was friendly and helpful. Definitely the best breakfast spot on this side of town.

This is my first time trying them to dine-in because I've order for take out or grubhub. With entry, it's very small and has a classic feel to it which can be good or bad depending on the consumers. Tip/suggest: this place is great for couples with a small child or two. The waitress greeted me with a menu and ask for a drink. I ordered three stack pancake with bacon and eggs with cheese. Also and order of homemade toasted bread. Most breakfast spot around the neighborhood are the same but this spot is a bit different. It felt like my cousins down south made this breakfast but it's missing variety to make it special. The bacon was pre-cooked (obvious) but the eggs with cheese was made light scrambled and I can taste the cheese. Pancake taste reminded me of crackle barrel which is good but I'm missing variety of toppings. The place can be a hidden gem but need more space and variety than the neighborhood standard.

This use to be my go to spot for breakfast since HS and I'm 46. the last 2 times the food was terrible. I gave it a second try because I know some spots have of days. It was prepared the same way. Dirty dark brown potato's and onion like they've been sitting and were re-heated. The turkey bacon looked like it was cooked in a air fryer each half done and half raw pink the eggs were not bad. But I'm done imma hit up old faithful Texas Wieners.

I have been going to Ace Dinner since I was a teen at Overbrook. The best bread in the world. It's a typical dinner. I order Uber eats most of the time now.
