I went to this restaurant a little while ago to order a couple of platters got home with the platters open one of them up only to find a large roach crawling around in the food. I would recommend anyone who eats here to thoroughly check their food if you do decide to eat here which I would strongly advise against in the first place. Hopefully they get their act together and clean up their kitchen

Very Mid. Little to no flavor. Mac and cheese is just noodles … barely even cheese. The goat was so bad I don’t think I’ll ever come here again. Everything tastes the same on my plate. It Looks like my dog went to town on my platter. Not to mention the “workers” who talk about you in front of your face. Little do they know I can understand every word they’re saying. Their only menu is taped across one table … with a “worker” sitting at the table so you can’t really see.

The presentation of the food is nice, but they do not season anything? I have to add seasonings whenever I get food from here. The Mac and cheese is just noodles and cheese no flavor. The rice and peas is so starchy and dry they don’t add any gravy or sauce from the meat so you’re r left with dry bland rice. The yams are fire though. 🤷🏾‍♀️ btw I’ve asked very nicely for them to add sauce/gravy and they ignore it every time. That’s on them. Still on the search for good oxtail in PA. No luck lmao.

I want to start off by saying I use to absolutely love this store when I first tried their food!!! The only thing that makes me so upset Everytime I go here is the Oxtail never seems fresh, it never fails that my oxtail are never tender or falling off the bone, the oxtail gravy is never really thick because it's entirely too much fat in the gravy and it makes everything so greasy ? no matter what I still come to this establishment and show my support!! Your greens and yams are so damn delicious, I wish the Oxtail goes back to how they use to be!!

Where Should I Start… Let’s Start With The Stewed Beef W/ White Rice. The Beef Was Tender, Tasted Good But It Wasn’t Fresh. The Food Tasted Like It Was Made The Other Day Or The Other Other Day Before. The White Rice Was Severely Overcooked. The Mac & Cheese Tasted Like It Has Sugar In It. Which Is In Fact A CRIME. SUGAR In Baked Mac & Cheese!!!?The Cabbage Was Cool. Now Let’s Talk About The Rice & Beans W/ Jerk Chicken. The Rice Barely Had Any Beans. The Jerk Chicken Was Dry & Tasted Old. Now They Do Pack Your Plate Out, But WTH Wants A Platter Full Of Soggy Old Rice. I Would Review The Plantains, But They Failed To Fulfill My Entire Order. I Was Gonna Call Them, But My Guest Said Leave It Alone. In Conclusion The Food Isn’t Nasty It’s Just Not Fresh, Which Is The Main Reason For My Not So Favorable Review. I Believe Y’all Can Do Better & Maybe In The Future Y’all Will.

Love this food but I’m disappointed with the customer service specifically the lady with the scars on her face. She is extremely rude for absolutely no reason. Also, while I was waiting for food yesterday she ended up arguing with two customers which is just crazy. People come for the food but I’m sure many will avoid coming there because of that lady. I hope the owner sees this complaint & replaces her immediately. Completely unacceptable behavior for someone who is supposed to be representing the restaurant. Disheartened and disappointed in the selection of staff. Please do better.

Never had Jamaican food before and this place did not disappoint one bit. Got jerk chicken over rice and beans and when I stated that I had never had oxtail, they stuffed me some extra oxtail just to try. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes good food
