I almost never leave bad reviews but im Extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered the cassava leaf with white rice. the rice was hard and crunchy and you can tell it wasn't fresh and they gave me little meat. I feel ripped off

The foods were deplorable. They forgot my fried red snapper but charged me for it. The peanut butter sauce was immensely spicy and hot. Taste like it had been reheated and old. ( I would not feed it to my dogs. Awful. And- what they called ox tails looked like soup with little bits of pieces of meat. It was awful. I will not order from African Small Pot.

Late share, as this happened on Thursday night. Had salmon and jollof rice. Both were amazing! Salmon was cooked very well and was delicious. Jollof rice was probably as close to what I had in Ghana as I've tasted so far since being back stateside, so I'm absolutely thrilled about that. Certainly a recommend and I fully intend to return in the future.

the fufu combo’d with the egusi soup is a must have. the portions here are insane!! and the fact that they stay open pretty late is a huge plus!! oh and did i forget to mention the food is just that freaking good!

Amazing is an understatement!! as an african american this is my first time eating african food. i got egusi soup with fufu and when i tell you this is the best food i’ve ever had. everything was made fresh. i even had to thank the cook because it was that good. Besides the food , the SERVICE was A1. it was all smiles and laughs with them. me and my friends had an amazing experience and i highly recommend, will be coming again. 10/10

The food was absolutely incredible! The drinks were also unique and delicious. The staff were also able to manage a huge party and attend to every one of our needs. I would recommend the yassa poulet, bissap ginger drink, and plantains, but everything I ate was phenomenal.

I 100% recommend! The food was amazing, as it really was savory and the portions for the price at which it was given is amazing; I had to freeze the leftover food for a week. As I west african, other African restaurants I have went to were not as good as African Small Pot. Hands down amazing! I loved the dine-in experience as I went with a group of people, it was really nice. The price all the way up to the serving of the food and service was truly nice. (Hopefully the picture I took tell you all you need to know)
Dietary restrictions: Definitely have some great options for those who cannot eat dairy or are vegan/vegetarian.
