This neighborhood gem is turning out some of the most creative and quality pies in Philly. And don’t get me started on the amazing dough (including GF)!

By far the best cesar salad out there!
All the pizzas are a banger, duck it being my favorite! Can’t go wrong with anything, I’m really happy to have this place in the neighborhood

Amazing pizza. Some of the best dough I’ve had in the city a long time. The owner is amazing and it’s such a welcomed community place in the neighborhood. Can’t wait to be back and try more items.

The pizza was delicious! We got 2, one plain Jane (margarita with pesto, yummy) and one Don (sausage and spicy long hots, rich and deep). The decor was carefully thought out, small but cozy for plenty of people to sit. We will definitely be back!
Aaron, the owner has a pet pig! We met him while he was walking the pig on the streets of Philly and couldn’t resist stopping by when he told us he owned Agricola.
He remembered us when we walked in, which was so nice :) not only was the food 10/10 but hospitality was too. Aaron brings such a good energy. The right things are done right (the food!) and the unimportant things (the marketing) is kept simple.

We had Aaron and Ben out to do a party for my son's graduation with 13th Street Cocktails earlier this summer. We served the pizza, meatballs, wings and garlic knots which are all the same you get at the restaurant. People did not stop talking about how great everything was a month later! The drinks are delicious as well! Everyone enjoyed how personable and fun the guys are too. There was a lot of buzz all night about how great the party was and how amazing the food and drinks were! Aaron & Ben bring a great energy to the party. From the beginning they put my mind at ease that they had everything taken care of, throughout the party when they kept the mood festive and my guests taken care of. It was a great experience!

We visited here mid summer, submitted a review that never went through hopefully this will. what a nice place this is, excellent hand tossed vegan pizza, a very unique fermented flavored crust.
The owner Aaron was very nice. Great Mocktails.

Finally had a chance to order from here and I definitely see why it's so highliy rated. I ordered the garlic knows and the Meat Sweats pizza and both were amazing! My partner has a gluten allergy so the option to have every pizza gluten-free is a huge plus. I ordered takeout and immediately walking inside you're met with an amazing vibe and atmosphere. The music playing was a great choice and the decor and atmosphere would make me want to come back and dine-in for a date night. Service was fantastic, pleasant and friendly, and quick. This was my first time here and I will most definitely be back and adding it to my rotation of restaurants to frequent. A+

First time ordering takeout here and decided to try the Shroom and Meat Sweats pizzas. Overall, they were okay. Like some other reviewer mentioned, I felt the crust was a bit large for the slice size, and the toppings seemed light for the $22 price (after tax), which felt more like a medium pizza in size. The Meat Sweats was my favorite of the two in flavor, though I would have liked more sauce, cheese, and toppings. The Shroom had lots of mushrooms, which was nice, but again, the cheese-to-topping ratio could be improved for the price point. While it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for, I’m sure others might enjoy it, and it’s always great to support local pizza spots.

Being celiac makes it difficult to find good pizza. So you can imagine my surprise when I find *great* pizza. Pizza that’s not a cheese-dressed cardboard frisbee.
Agricola doesn’t just *have* gluten-free pizza. Using the finest caputo flour and even now experimenting with their own blend, gluten-free is not an after thought for this jawn. They’ve perfected it. And the quality of the ingredients! Jersey tomatoes, PA cheese, freshly hunted meat. Origin-to-table freshness most places only talk about.
What’s better with fantastic food than an atmosphere that matches its quality? Agricola has been on my want-to-go list for months. When my friend and I rolled up last night about 20 minutes before closing, I didn’t think we were going to eat. (I didn’t want to be that person.) I wanted to poke my head in, do a sort of vibe check.
Our head poke received the warmest welcome you can imagine. Warmer than most restaurants welcome you an hour before closing. I felt like I had stepped into “home.” They assured us that it was not too late to order a pizza, and confirmed they have gluten-free. We quickly ordered two – Meat Sweats and the one with duck 🤤 – and got to chatting with the owner while our pizzas were being crafted.
Now, any pizza shop that is officially closed is going to stuff your pizza in a box and send you on your way. Not Agricola. You can imagine my surprise when they brought our pizzas to the table for us to dine-in and offered us a glass of wine – and when they heard another friend was on their way to South Philly to join us, asked us if they’d want one, too.
You guys. I did not just have the best gluten free pizza of my life last night. I had the best, most Philly-fam dining experience I could have imagined. Agricola is the complete package. Thanks to owner Aaron and his team Sara/h and Zach/k – Agricola is an experience that exceeded my expectations.

Disappointing this place is never open when I try to go. Closed over the weekends and only a few hours during the week. Hopefully this changes with all the promotion online, I was hyped to try.

Great pizza! Fresh ingredients! Awesome people!
Just found this place recently via online review, everything was house made and you can taste the freshness! Been to a few well-known pizza establishments throughout the USA and this one is definitely top 5 without question. Get here quick before word gets out and you can't get a seat.
