My main complaint with this restaurant is the noise level. There were two large tables of women hooting and hollering throughout our meal making it difficult for us to converse. My chicken schnitzel was tough to chew and my mashed potatoes were cold (must have been sitting awhile before served). The others in our party of four all enjoyed the halibut and steak entrees. Not sure I would return.

A quiet evening at Aleksander following a very busy restaurant week. Tried the ribeye. It was very good, with an ample serving of delicious vegetables. But next time it will be back to the scallops ...

They have the best burger in town. Go check them out folks, support local business. Great service, delicious food, and lovely ambience. Perfect for date night, everyday dining, and special occasions. Cheers

The Aleksandar Restaurant was a fantastic dining experience. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food made for a perfect evening. My grilled salmon was cooked beautifully, and the chocolate cake was exceptional. The wine selection was great, and the staff's recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend!

This was one of the most disappointing meals I have had in recent memory. The gazpacho soup was so watery we had to send it back. The chicken schnitzel was tough and the scallops were under done. The latter was so bad we sent it back to be thoroughly cooked! The $39 halibut dish was swimming in some sort of sauce that was inedible. An otherwise satisfactory Caesar salad was infused with kale. Suffice to say we will not return till they hire a decent chef.

Where do I start? First of all I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the fact that I never knew this place existed. The food was amazing and I only went for restaurant week so I will DEFINITELY be back outside of that. The service was great as well. Highly recommend.

Love Aleksandars. Tried out restaurant week here and was so happy with the experience. We kept saying how good every dish was and how impressed we were with their creativity and personal touch on classics.

I had lunch with a friend to experience Restaurant Week. My lunch was outstanding. The pierogis were first rate and the salmon was cooked perfectly. It was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely return.

We went to Aleksandar for the first time during Restaurant Week. Food was excellent! Our waiter was knowledgeable and made sure that everything was going well throughout our time there. Artwork throughout the restaurant is amazing!!! Highly recommend - we will be going back!

It was restaurant week. The menu selection was excellent. It was pricey, but on par with other higher end restaurants. Service was excellent while we were eating. (At higher end restaurants, I expect them to pack the leftovers, not bring a box.). Delicious, well plated food.

We had a table on the sidewalk Great people watching and delicious food Service was attentive but not intrusive I met an old friend for lunch and we spent 2 hours catching up and we didn't feel rushed at all Five stars!

Gorgeous plating, great service and drinks! Only drawback is small portions for the price. Dessert was also not as great as the first and second course. Otherwise it was a fantastic meal!

We had been meaning to patronize this restaurant since it opened, but somehow never got there, until my husband took me there last night. Wow! It was great! The hostess inquired as to our seating preferences, and the waiter was entertaining and knowledgeable. Service was impeccable. This was Restaurant Week, so perhaps the menu wasn't typical, but it was generous for the price. Everything was beautifully presented and more importantly delicious. Definitely going back!

Went for restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised. Their handle of seafood dishes is excellent. For appetizers we got the steak tartare and salmon carpaccio. Tartare was not bad. I enjoyed the addition of potatoes chips for a crunchy texture. Salmon carpaccio was deliciously thick sliced and plenty of them. The Seafood black ink linguine was well balanced. The mussels, shrimp, and squid were cooked perfectly, neither under nor overcooked. We really enjoyed the Hokkaido scallops with risotto. The crispy kale on top added texture and a slightly charred and herbal smell that we enjoyed. The cheesecake and chocolate torte were not too sweet. Smooth and creamy, the torte was also moist (reminds me of the chocolate cake from the Matilda film) and the portion sizes were not overwhelming.

Brilliant ambience, and delicious food. They have one of the best burgers in town, get it at their bar- which features craft cocktails, delectable wines, and great beers on tap. The staff are professional, friendly, and skilled. The restaurateur often checks in on guests, himself, anticipating their needs and wants, to ensure a wonderful dining experience. They change their menu seasonably, so there's something fun and new to try, always. They have a great happy hour, and brunch, too. Go check them out, support local businesses, please :)
