This was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. While the table next to us received dish after dish, we waited an unreasonably long time for our ribeye. At one point, we even asked our server to cancel it. What made it worse was that we had to track her down ourselves. She never once came by to check on us, ask how our food was, or notify us of the delay. An apology was only offered after we brought it up again when we mentioned that we would not be ordering dessert if that was also going to take too long.

We had ordered pasta to pair with the ribeye, but after more than 30 minutes of waiting, we ended up eating it on its own. The food was good, but certainly not exceptional enough to justify such a long wait.. especially for a $99 ribeye. At the very least, I would have expected our drinks or dessert to be comped, but there was no gesture of goodwill. In fact, there wasn’t even an apology at the end, just a casual ’thanks, come again.’

Had our waitress handled the situation properly, we would have left in a much better mood. But a customer should never have to chase down their server (twice) or force an apology. Maybe it’s the management/manager.. who knows. Good food, but absolutely NOT worth the wait. Extremely disappointing service and overall experience.

This restaurant is a love letter to food. The service was amazing, the ambience was fantastic, and the food was some of the best I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in Philly. My gf and I stopped during a busy Friday service and got seating right away at the bar with full menu available. I hope every employee here is shown gratitude for the excellent restaurant they are running. We will be back many more times!

I didn't hate anything we had, but aside from the tomatoes with anchovy, I didn't really like anything either ... And it is super expensive.

As I said, I enjoyed the tomatoes with anchovy and service was passable. The flatbread was gluey like it wasn't fully cooked, and other than fava beans, I couldn't tell you what the other toppings were because it was so unmemorable.

The romano beans were sickeningly sweet, and the $75 half of a roasted chicken was fine but not $75 fine. And the peppers and citrus accompanying it were cloyingly sweet.

I wouldn't go back on purpose, and definitely not at almost $300 for a couple.

An absolutely delightful experience with Ricardo, our waiter – but let’s not forget the fantastic kitchen and bar, and service staff, too. We very much enjoyed the tasteful, compact dining room and bar. We had the latke, roasted oysters, sunchoke salad, and the hamachi crudo, all fantastic. The cocktails were uniformly excellent, including an ad hoc request to re-nature their excellent NA cocktail of quince, lemon and tonic. Dessert was an amazing chocolate caramel tart with coffee-toffee ice cream augmented with one of their fine amaro selections. Superb!

Overpriced!
Burned bread under very small portions of steak tartare $29. It yasted more like pizza. Five potatoe chips under tiny portions of tuna sushi $32. We ordered two glasses of alcohol and the total bill came to $102. The place has a nice atmosphere and it may be worthwhile getting a drink there but based off n our sample of food and what we saw on other tables, Alice is definitely not worth it.

Absolutely phenomenal. Went for an anniversary, Simone the host and Jamie our server were both 15/10. Not to mention the rest of the staff who brought us our food. I do not know their names but they were so kind and friendly as well. The tasting menu was extremely delicious and worth every penny. It was a full range of eats, from simple and refreshing to rich and luxurious. The highlights for us were the octopus, the bluefin crudo, the coal oven poulet, and the long beans (huge nostalgia hit ❤️). Don’t even get me started on the absinthe ice cream, that was wild and a very pleasant surprise. All in all, everything was perfection. We had such a memorable and special evening. Thank you!

The food was exquisite, honestly it was hard to say witch dish was the best one, it was a little pricy though, I would have liked the service to be included at this price point, but overhaul, fantastic work
