Delicious food in an open air environment makes this place refreshing even in a metropolis like Philadelphia. They have some of the best unique dishes that I can’t find anywhere else. The staff is so kind. The umbrellas and beautiful flowers at each table helped make this place a relaxing space. I will definitely be returning.

Parking: You may have to go around the block more than once, or park further away and walk a block, but the food is worth it. I was fortunate...

Where can you get Huevos Rancheros in a sandwich? Alma Del Mar, that's where. Where can you walk in & be greeted like family, by an actual family? Same. Where can you specify exact ingredients & preparation with no big deal made. Alma Del Mar.
Try it once, you'll become a customer for life. (Just don't tell anyone. This place will have lines in a few months when the influences get ahold of it!)

Really creative and delicious. The salmon ceviche was full of salmon and avocado and had just the right bite. Octopus tacos were tender but chewy—with an amazing peanut and chile topping. Definitely will return.
