To the Owners of Almyra" I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding an incident that occurred on Saturday, July 12th during a reservation for my son's 30th birthday. Upon arrival, my son's father was rudely confronted by your security guard, (Dwayne)( who later was laughing and smirking towards me with sarcasm), about wearing a hat, despite being dressed in otherwise appropriate attire (dress khaki pants, button-up shirt). This was particularly frustrating as I had observed another male patron wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap being permitted entry when I was just three weeks prior. Both managers I spoke with (including the one who later called me back) refused to make an exception, even after I explained the special occasion and guest driving 1 hr to come there and the inconsistency in policy enforcement. This rigid and seemingly arbitrary application of your dress code, coupled with the lack of empathy from your staff, completely ruined what was meant to be a Special celebration. The inconsistent enforcement of your dress code, as well as the dismissive attitude of your security and management, is a serious concern. It detracts from your establishment's reputation and customer experience. I strongly urge you to review your policies and provide proper staff training on consistent enforcement and appropriate customer service. This experience ultimately forced us to find an alternative restaurant the last minute. Happily we found a highly accommodating and welcoming experience at "SPICE FINCH" directly across the street, where the food, drinks, and service were EXCEPTIONAL, and the prices were more reasonable! I had a follow-up call with one of your managers Megan. Which she wish security wouldn't be the reason for me not to return. However, it wasn't just the security that influenced my decision. You had opportunities to improve the situation and chose not to, which also played a significant role. I hope the owners seriously consider looking into this matter further.
The service was excellent. our waitress was on point with the suggestions, Food was delicious, I had the lamb chops , not over cook and dry out, but very delicious and seasoned very nicely. I went there with my bestie a.d we enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this restaurant to all. I give it a 5+ star ratings.
This place was incredible! The service and food were outstanding, and the atmosphere was lovely and vibrant, almost like a beautiful garden. I would definitely recommend it!

I wanted to love this place. But I couldn't
the food was fine, nothing to write home about. it is greek but with a twist and its not a good twist. Spinach pie inside a wonton? no thank you. the pita bread should have been toasted more. The lamb chops were pretty decent
The whole restaurant, seemed like they want you to post and make it about it the gram.
would I go back? prob not

Dear owner/managers:
I humbly request that you train your waiters to clear dirty place before bringing on the next course. In my experience, even when I asked him to do it they only took a few of them. I asked for the manager, and she walked away mid sentence and say let me get your server. She did not offer an apology for the inconvenience. Makes sense as the tone is that from the top. Can’t expect much when the manager (Kristen) herself was indifferent. It’s pathetic that you want 20% tip yet you don’t have the basics established.
Also, the cocktails were just about half a glass full. I thought that was weird.

Very fancy Mediterranean food restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. We ate here for dinner and everything looked fantastic. My lobster dish was so filling and so delicious. The restaurant five stars from me. We had a reservation so there was no wait for us even though the place seemed packed, they sat us right away upon arrival.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian in our party was happy with the options and the quality of the meal.
Parking: We walked to dinner from our hotel, so I don't know about parking on a normal day, but we were there during the political craziness. Ms. Kamala Harris was apparently staying at the hotel across the street so there was heavy SWAT and Secret Service presence that I can imagine would have made parking difficult on that particular evening.

Almyra had such a really nice aesthetic with flowers and beautiful decor. We ordered all 5 of the spreads, which I definitely recommend. I can’t choose a favorite because they were all so good. We also ordered the crispy rice, spanakopita mayo, Almyra chips, artichoke kebab, and shrimp kebab. The Spanakopita and crispy rice were so delicious we ordered them twice! The artichoke kebab wasn’t that good; it tasted a little bland. For drinks, we ordered an espresso martini, Fresko, and pathos, which were all really good. My friends ordered a bottle of wine as well, and they have a good collection of wines to choose from.
Vegetarian options: All the spreads are vegetarian friendly. The artichoke kebab, Spanakopita manti, Almyra chips are as well.
Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating for nut allergies and alter food accordingly.

I had an amazing time on my birthday here! Food was affordable, robust in flavor, and simply amazing. The server was super sweet and made sure the drinks kept flowing. I loved the appetizers as well. I ordered the lamb shank. It was a bit dryer than I liked but the server took it back and got me sea bass instead. It was truly delectable.

Highly recommend. Place is beautiful with flowers on the ceiling, golden lamps on each table. Service is very attentive. And food ...been couple of times already, very impressed by octopus (and it's not just 2 pieces on your plate), soy sea bass just melts in your mouth, we also took shrimp appetizer -sauce was very yummy. We tried cheese appetizer, honestly just warm salty cheese but presentation with fire is cute. Eggplant hummus also something out of this world. Salmon kebab was a little dry, my friends liked seviche, lobster pasta so so. But I went with 3 different people and all enjoyed the food so sure you can find something your like. Specialty cocktails tasty and beautifully presented with eatable flowers. For desserts tried pahlava and Napoleon. I don't have a sweet tooth, but Napoleon was light and fresh. Nice place for a date or dinner with friends and girlfriends.
