I went with a large group of friends last night and am adding Amada to my list of faves. The food was amazing, of course, but elevated by the spectacular service. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name (perhaps one too many wines) because he was great. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and he guided me through the menu and helped me select an incredible meal. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Philly!

We went to Amada as our last dinner in Philadelphia and it was the best choice! The ambience of the place, the dim light and decor beautiful. We had our server Leah (sorry if spelled wrong) she was great and we were a little bummed that we got a different server mid service without her saying bye or any explanation that is why I substract a star in the service. But this place worth a visit.

This place was excellent - the food was absolutely delicious and the service and atmosphere were great.

We went for NYE and they had a great pre fixe menu that allowed us to sample many of the flavors Chef Garces has become known for. Everything was excellent but the star of the show for us was super unexpected...I hate Brussel sprouts but the way they made them was beyond amazing.

This is a place worth visiting for sure. Ample parking on 2nd.

The service was lovely from the bartenders to the host to the table server. The food is absolutely divine. And I need to say if you go PLEASE order the datiles (bacon wrapped dates) and the Barca (goat cheese balsamic and strawberries). I’ve eaten at a million places tried a million cheeses. This was so good we ended up ordering another round of it. Absolutely phenomenal. Price might seem high but for the quality atmosphere and service 100% worth it

Amada is consistently a great meal, we went for much today and it was awesome! The staff, food and overall service was amazing. I want to thank Noah the General Manager for an even better experience. He's one of the most experienced managers I have met in a while.

5 course set menu for NYE, but really only 4 since the last was a bowl of grapes and a swallow of cheap cava. Every protein was overcooked except fluke, served raw, already smelling a bit off. Charcuterie was low grade and dried out. Two salads were best dishes. Server impersonal to the point of rudeness and didn't know much about wine list - i ended up ordering blind and got lucky. A couple decent sauces and an ok saffron aoli, but overall not worth the money.

A few years ago we had a fantastic dinner here--we ordered the chef's tasting menu. The dishes were beautifully prepared, unique, and delicious. The service was top-rate. So we were eager to return to Amada on our next trip to Philly. Again we ordered the tasting menu--what a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. Every dish was something already on the menu, so we could have ordered it ourselves as a sequence of tapas. Moreover, the quality was very bad--nothing but greasy, salty, fried bar food. And yet, the price was still very high, far too high for the miserable excuse for a dinner that we got. There must no longer be a chef, and evidently the restaurant has decided to lower it's standards to cater to a bar crowd rather than diners. What a shame that a formerly outstanding restaurant has dropped this low. Shame, shame.

We had the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was excellent and we enjoyed everything they brought which was 10-12 items. I honestly lost count. It was the a good amount of food and any more would have been too much. The first three wine pairings were excellent but came out with the first few dishes followed by a long pause before the final pairing with the dessert. It wasn't the best match and seemed to belong with some of the later dishes rather than at the end with dessert. Overall, excellent food, very good service, and an enjoyable experience. I'll be back.

Amada Philadelphia delivered an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The cocktails were crafted perfectly—balanced, flavorful, and a great start to the night. The salad was fresh and packed with flavor, and the paella was truly exceptional, with rich seasoning and perfectly cooked ingredients. The service and atmosphere made the meal even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier dining spot in the city.

This used to be one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Philly. It's still great, but they've removed a lot of the best items from the menu, such as the ensalada de jamon, the arroz temporado, the chamucha, and a couple of other dishes. Wish they would bring at least one or two of those back! The ensalada de jamon may be the best salad I've ever had!

I appreciate the $6 mimosas. Tbh that what made me book a reservation. They were made well, and you can tell they weren't using cheap champagne/presecco. I ordered the sangria pancakes. They were way too sweet. Usually, I offset my sweet brunch choices with something savory. But, they didn't have anything on the menu for me, which was disappointing. I only eat turkey or chicken breakfast products. Not having the savory with the sweet three off my meal, and I didn't eat much of it. I took it to go and gifted it to a less fortunate person. I'm not confident I'd return.
