Everything was delicious! I had the seafood omelette, pancakes and we shared the shrimp and grits. The grits were buttery and creamy. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. Our waiter Dominique was kind and patient. His service was incredible. The seafood omelette was filled with small shrimp and real crab meat! The manager Eric Coleman checked on us too! He is kind and polite. Great restaurant!!!

Food is nasty cook is rude . Can’t cook pancakes they look thin. Don’t listen to customers. I will never eat there or recommend them! Wouldn’t give me my money back. This is why you call License and Inspection. Dirty. And y’all remade the food it was nasty looking again with thin pancakes bunch of grease on the sausages so yes yall did refund me money after my mom had to complain and now the owner want to write on my review but the workers refused my refund and why when the food was again a mess. And if you look in others review I am not the first to say it was nasty. So you can stay blessed and learn how to run a business and hire staff that can cook with out attitudes.

I was feeling under the weather, and as a result, underslept. I seldom order food for delivery, but it's Valentine's Day and also my mother's birthday, and I just wanted to make things easy this morning (like not having to cook or clean dishes). Since I couldn't sleep, I started scrolling through DoorDash and came across Amari's. The rave reviews attracted me, as well as it's close proximity to my home, so I knew the food would arrive quick and fresh (and it did). I ordered pancakes, French toast, home fries, and scrambled eggs - - enough for my household of three to share. I knew I was in for a treat based on the aroma coming from the bag when it arrived. The pancakes, French toast, and scrambled eggs were all delicious, but the home fries were my favorite part. I'm finicky about the way my potatoes are cooked and seasoned, but I would happily eat them again (and again). We will certainly keep Amari's in mind for a future meal!

My French toast was soggy it’s normally better until I came there 3rd or 4th timeGuy or cook answered phone being rude when I ordered 3rd time seems like hate
They used to have poetry workshops and live jazz on Sundays. I didn't see live jazz today but maybe it happened earlier in the day. I love to get the fried swai fillet that comes with 2 sides. Today I got greens and mac and cheese as sides. The mac wasn't cheesy enough. There was some cheesy flavored butter sauce on the macaroni but I needed to add my own cheese at home. The greens were really spicy but flavorful. I will come back and just get different sides and go back to some other old time favorites.

Googled a nice soulful place to eat while out in Philly and me and my beau went here. Nice place to try but was a bit of a drive. Food : 3/5 The food was eatable and good. The grits would have been better if they had some more seasoning in them. Eggs were good. Fish was lightly seasoned was a bit bland. I will say I'm happy it was salty and overpowering because then it would have just been bad. I think they have the potential to get the seasoning proportion right other than that I enjoyed my meal fully. Service: 4/5 Waitress was very nice and welcoming. She gave suggestions on what to try being our first time there and was pleasant. Ambiance: 4/5 Loveeee the cleanliness, art work, music selection and how spacious and homey it felt inside. Insulated very well might I add.

Everything was excellent about this place. Came with family and a few of my family members had been here before and highly recommended, especially my brother who tends to not go to the same establishment more than once, so I knew it had to be good. I got the salmon cheesesteak the Amari way. It was absolutely delicious. Got it with the seasoned potatoes instead of fries and it was so good. My aunt also let me taste her seafood omelette and I said that would be the next thing I purchase when I go back, because I definitely will be going back. The owner came out and spoke with us and was absolutely friendly and informative. As we were there late and they were closing, he asked us if we minded that they would be cleaning around us. We were happy that he communicated with us, and we were done eating at that point anyway. I truly cannot say enough good things about Amari’s and am looking forward to returning soon!

I had wheat toast, home fries, seafood omelet, pomegranate lemonade, it was good , everything was fresh, my friend had 2 eggs fried hard, home fries, steak she enjoyed it, customer service was A1 , definitely Will dine there again.
