This is a perfect small Italian restaurant for a “step up” dinner! Cozy interior, come as you are vibes. The food was great and service was prompt. My friend and I accidentally spent two hours here eating and chatting!

The food and service are great. I love the duck, the salmon appetizer, the octopus and the polenta underneath short rib. The portion is indeed small in comparison to the price, but I do highly recommend this restaurant for people who want some Italian food in Philly.

Sehr überfüllt am Abend und sehr laut. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich, aber im Großen und ganzen ist es eher eine Massenabferrtigung. Die Auswahl der Speisen hat nichts mit italienischer Küche zu tun. Das Personal spricht spanisch und der Eigentümer ist irisch. Man kann seinen eigenen Wein mitbringen. Hauptsächlich junges Publikum im Alter zwischen 22 und 30.

The pastas at Ambrosia are always fresh and bursting with flavor. We’ve been dining here for years and have never had a disappointing meal. The fact that it’s BYOB is an added bonus. The staff is consistently attentive, making each visit a pleasure!

Good food, great service❤✌

Attended a friend’s birthday dinner and was quite impressed. The staff was kind and attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. We had the burrata appetizer, the short rib and the branzino for entrees. All of them were delicious, but the short rib was perfection. Deserts were the pistachio pancetta and the tiramisu. Definitely a recommend.

So overpriced and they over served all tables around us, nobody’s wants to try and have a quite meal surrounded but loud drunks
