The food is full of taste and excitement, and the service is exceptional. The grits are amazing and the deviled eggs are so good. The décor is absolutely gorgeous, creating a friendly and aesthetically pleasing environment with a vibe that is perfect for a first date or any special occasion. The friendly manager and staff enhance the experience, making guests feel right at home. The Peri Peri Wings, burger, wings basket, and cornbread are also highly recommended. While cocktails start around $16, the service is generally attentive and spot on. Everything arrives in a timely manner, and the drinks are very good. The atmosphere gives off a sophisticated, R&B, and cultural feel, making it a great spot for casual dining or celebrating special moments. Some guests find the lighting a bit dark, but overall, the environment is welcoming. It would be nice to see more Jaz or old school R&B nights with music from the 90s or even a live band to add to the lively vibe.
