My husband went and picked the food up so I can’t talk about the look but the food was everything the reviews said I got beef ribs Mac and seasoned yellow rice and my husband got brisket greens and yellow rice that bbq sauce was everything we both had mild sauce the ribs were meaty and not just a bunch of fat my husband said the brisket was delicious his only complaint was that the greens had a overpowering vinegar taste so much so he couldn’t enjoy them so he didn’t eat them but everything else was on point and delicious we paid $59 for the 2 platters but it was ribs and brisket so that was a fair price to me service was great from the phone ordering process to pick up this was my first time and I’ll definitely be back

This food changed my life!! My boyfriend got the wing platter and i got pulled pork platter. Wow, when I say this was good I mean it broke my scale. The meat was juicy and tender, the sauces were perfect barbecue and they were generous with sauce. Everything was seasoned and flavorful. So delicious. Highly recommend! Next time going to try to order early enough for the mac and cheese and greens. This is a gem!

The service was excellent and the people are very friendly and respectful, but the half slab of beef ribs I ordered was horrible. The meat wasn't tender extra chewy no flavor and it was drenched in sauce that was most likely store bought. It was so much sauce I almost gagged. In conclusion nice place, good people, bad beef ribs.

Was on a small trip in town and heard this was some of the best BBQ in Philly.Thought I'd drive up from the airport and try it and it's 100% worth it.The owners (husband and wife I believe) were some of the most hospitable people I've met in recent years. I got 1 lb of brisket and a rack of spare ribs which ended up being about 15 bones. For only $48 total. This isn't even possible at some of the BBQ joints in Texas where I live.The mixed sauce was amazing, not to sweet, just spices with a kick of heat. The sliced bread is a BBQ staple that many miss but they baggie it up for you for free and lots of it. The brisket was the perfect sliced blend of point and flat with a thick smoke ring, I couldn't stop myself from eating the whole damn order. The ribs were also cooked perfectly, not sloppy nor falling apart when picking them up; so tender, perfectly sauced, perfect BBQ flavor.My only regret is I did not try the beef ribs. Only took about 12 minutes for a full order and in that time I heard other customers raving about the beef ribs.This is now my go to spot when I travel to PHL for work. I'll be back for some beef ribs and to try all the sides, the blueberry cornbread sounds to good to pass next time.

So nice we had to come back twice… within a week and we are adding this to our regular monthly to do list. I’d recommend coming around 5 pm or any time before 7 pm just because the beef ribs tasted slightly better and fresh off the grill coming in earlier. It tasted even better the second visit, the sides are delicious and the blueberry cornbread will be my new go to. My 5 year old is a picky eater and she got SO excited coming back for the mac and baked beans. We usually don’t like everyone’s mac and cheese or collard greens but theirs are delicious like your Grandma’s back in the day. I haven’t been inside yet but my husband spoke glowingly of an older woman he ordered with. We always have just enough leftover for the next day. This was a happy find!
