The thing of it is, is you can’t go to Applebee’s at 10AM in Center City and expect the world to be handed to you. I think for how many people this restaurants takes in and how accommodating they can be, it deserve the 5 star. Trust me, I have seen many things in this Applebee’s and had some pretty bad service, but the managers and most of the servers who are still there are really good people and they try their best. There was a point where a group of my friends and I were coming to this Applebee’s for half off apps at least once a week and with drink specials as good as they are, they literally can’t be beat. All the bad reviews, I just have this to say. It’s Applebee’s. So don’t be too hard on it. Basically every time I’ve been, I’ve gotten a story out of it. So take it for what it is.

The kitchen was super slow on appetizers AND our food, which basically came out at the same time. But it was all delicious (except for the sad excuse that they call mac and cheese is just penne with unmelted shredded cheese on top). And our server was the sweetest and as attentive as they could be, given how many tables they had. Kitchen, do better. Wait staff, keep up the good work.

Very neat and accessible restaurant. They serve big portions and for inexpensive rates. I loved the meals a lot and the staff were super welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this place.

MANAGER IS EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE. I had an issue and when I brought it to the managers attention he IMMEDIATELY was rude and aggressive to me and my guest. We were both women and scared. The bartender has NO IDEA what he is doing and this service was slow and unwelcoming. I will never come back. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Will be filing formal complaints. If you hate your job so much leave. Extremely poor and ignorant service. Even worse management. As someone who works in the service industry I have never seen anything so ruthless and horrible. Just another example of somone on a power trip.

We go here after work for happy hour some days. Food is great, but service is hit or miss. My favorite item on their menu is the ribs. Gets a little crowded sometimes so one thing I would change would be have more seating. Thanks!

Ordered mozzarella sticks and 5 out of 8 sticks had NO CHEESE! Ordered through door dash, and have never been so disappointed with the service provided by door dash AND applebees! Also, the three cheese chicken penne had nearly no sauce on them.

This place never fails to deliver. They serve excellent dishes for fair prices, there are no long waits even when the place is loaded.
Our waitress Tiara, was amazing, we got the endless boneless buffalo wings and shrimp. They also had a $1 Cocktail. The cocktail was watered down quite a bit but that's was to be expected, after all it only cost a dollar. The "endless" deal was sort of mix and match thing. I tried the ribs for my second order but they were terrible so I switched back to the buffalo chicken. It wasn't the best experience but it also wasn't the worst so If say go for it!

Cody my waiter was excellent...the atmosphere is nice and cody service was on point made sure we were good...had to send food back...but other than that it was ok...but Cody...excellent service....4 stars because of Cody...

I had the worst Restraunt experience ever..1..we sat for 20min b4 we received H20 and silverware..2..waiteress Herdon apparently had no orientation or experince waiting on tables..3..never received cocktails frm bar.4..appetizers came out after entree and they were cold so we sent them back..Manager Craig watched the whole disaster unfold..this Applebees is an embarrassment for the franchise...Corporate needs to step in..Also they should hv a hair grooming policy..bc there is excessive weave flying everywhere..very unsanitary

I've been here before and service was Satisfactory. However yesterday it was not! There was a bit of a wait, which was fine. After we were seated, about 5-10 minutes had gone by and our server never came to the table. We stopped the gentleman who seated us to tell him this. The server overheard me and said she would be right with us. We asked for water with lemon, two $1 drink of the month and silverware, when we placed our order. She dropped 2 waters off, no straws, no lemon, no silverware. We asked another server for straws, as it took our server a while to return to the table. As more time is going by (with no drinks or food), we notice a lot of the servers had long flowing hair, not pinned up or covered. One server literally had braids reaching longer than her backside. There was a lot of walking back & forth, yet no food. When our food finally came, the server didn't remember who ordered what, it was just 2 of us. My friend ordered french onion soup, which should've come out before the entrees. He had to ask for it. My entree was luke warm, but I ate it because I was so hungry. When he got his french onion soup, the soup under the cheese was cold!!! The manager took the soup off the bill and offered free dessert, which we declined. Won't be returning here.
