Was here in Philly celebrating a friend‘s birthday and they wanted to check out Ashton‘s, which is a pretty well-known cigar lounge in Philly. We were told that their cigars are overpriced, so to bring our own which we did, but they do have a bar and lounge area. We went on a Saturday (they do not open until four). We got there around there 530 and they were already pretty packed. We lucked up and got the last table available. The first floor has the cigars and paraphernalia to purchase. The second floor has a nice bar with plenty of seating and tables in the bar area and then lounge couches in another area. The host and our waitress were good. She checked on us regularly, took photos for us and engaged in conversation. There was a nice mixture of people. Some people were dressed up. Some people were dressed down. I Took one star away on service due to the overpriced cigars. I took one star away of the atmosphere due to ladies Beware the bathrooms are unisex so once you go through the door, you are in the bathroom with men which was very uncomfortable. I would actually recommend you change this and protect women in these personal spaces!

Terrible service. Was planning on spending several hundred on high-end sticks and bourbon… but turned me away because I didn’t want to sit in an awkward space under a tv. Rude hostest. Terrible business move.

I love this place but ambience has changed recently. And the drink prices are completely out of control. At those prices just give a healthy pour—not a measured to the tee half a drink. Also stop being so stingy about the “reserved” couch areas during the opening 4pm hours when no one is there. Let patrons sit there during happy hour and save the “reserved for larger parties” line for when that is truly the case. Music used to be “background” during happy hours and now is like a loud concert—hard to talk with your people. All in all still the best cigar bar in the city. Buy your sticks downstairs at Holts.

Awesome spot in Center City with great humidor and awesome service.
My only complaint is the music, we were screaming at one another and that just wasn’t something I expected from a cigar lounge.
Other than that, they have a few house picks on their bourbon and whiskey offerings, all were great. Good variety of spirits all across the board.
Mike was very attentive and made sure my ashtray was constantly cleaned and my drink was up to par.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ashton Cigar Lounge, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, I was struck by the inviting ambience that perfectly blends sophistication with comfort. The warm lighting and stylish decor create a relaxing atmosphere that is ideal for enjoying a fine cigar.
What truly set our visit apart was the incredible knowledge and passion of Shane, a staff member and cigar aficionado. He took the time to discuss various cigar options with me and my husband , guiding us through the extensive selection with expertise and enthusiasm. Whether you’re a seasoned cigar smoker or a newcomer to the world of cigars, Shane’s recommendations are spot-on, and his ability to tailor suggestions based on personal preferences is unparalleled. I left feeling more informed and excited about my choices than ever before.
The lounge itself is well-appointed, with comfortable seating and a well-stocked humidor that boasts an impressive variety of premium cigars. The combination of quality cigars, a relaxed atmosphere, and Shane's expert guidance made for a truly enjoyable experience.
If you’re looking for a great place to unwind and indulge in some of the finest cigars, Ashton Cigars Lounge is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what they have to offer. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is fantastic, their people are simply great notably Marissa (who is wonderful), Elena ( who has great taste in cigars) and Shane(who has great taste in cigars & boots). They made my evening an enjoyable one and I highly recommend that you wind down at the bar after a long day visiting all the tourist locations in Philly. I spent less than $40 on drinks because I purchased my cigars downstairs at the cigar shop earlier in the day.
