18MAR24 - I was in midtown for a conference, and we walked down to Brooklyn Diner for lunch. I had the pastrami Reuben and it was amazing. The place is nice, quaint and was fairly quiet. The service was spectacular! If you get a chance ask for Ash as your waiter. He is fantastic and has a story and a book coming outAsh - if you make plans to visit Raleigh, let me know.

Deceptive drink description and terrible pour. Paid $22 for half of a drink and was up charged $3 for a St patty's day drink that was described as a Manhattan made with black Jamison's and averna and was charged extra for the averna. Server said nothing about the up charge and should have been embarrassed to bring a drink half empty. My fault I didn't complain. I will never go back.

My favorite bar in Philadelphia! Very cool vibe , great selection of liquor and cigars!

Overrated. Really doesn’t give a high-end cigar bar experience. Music choices are embarrassingly too slanted towards hip-hop, and generally stuff that isn't relaxing. Bar is smack in middle of the room, and it’s not comfortable with guests and staff walking behind you all day long if you sit at the bar, which you have to sit at if you’re a single person walking in by yourself. The hostess right in your face immediately as you get to the top of the stairs, and the blatant emphasis on sitting almost every one at high-top tables instead of lounge chair seating is really off-putting. They want you to be mesmerized by the beautiful to-the-ceiling display of bottles at the bar, but it isn’t nearly enough.

Beautiful bar and atmosphere. Great spot for after-dinner drinks and cigars. Very well ventilated and great selection of spirits.

Ordered a ~$25 dollar whiskey which the bartender states they're out of. Offer's a "comparable" one that I agree to without knowing the price since I assume comparable means both quality and price. Winds up charging me for a $85 whiskey. My fault for not asking. Thier fault for taking advantage of my naivete. Not sure if it was intentional but lesson learned. It tarnished an otherwise great experience. I've worked in the restaurant/bar industry for years. This is unacceptable.

Ashtons is a pretty chill atmosphere on Friday's they play a nice mix of music to enhance the vibe. The drinks were ok and pricey. The one thing that through me in for a loop unexpectedly was being charged at the door $10 a head and we were a party of 10. I've been to many high end cigar lounges and never been charged to get in that's a turn off for me. Especially when your spending a substantial amount of money. I won't be returning.

Hands down in my top 3 favorite places in Philly! I can't get enough. I first experienced Ashton's in 2018 when I came to town for a conference, I had no idea years later I'd move here and be here very frequently as a regular! I have my go-to cigar and bourbon pair but I'm truly open to trying new suggestions from the staff! The staff has a wide-range of knowledge, service is on point and it's a great place to be! Many selections to choose from! The vibe is sexy, and one of a kind! Always a great ambiance! It can be a chill/smooth weeknight or an energetic weekend! Great selection of music, and it really adds to the energy and engagement! Very clean, polished, dim and a place you must experience.

Great lounge! This place had the best ventilation of any cigar spot I've been too in any state. The cigar prices were steep though. The drinks and selection was great.

Great environment, music....excellent choice of cigars and drinks! Wish they had more Italian selection but is what it is. Overall, recommend if you're in town.
