The place is quite and so is the food, but the flavors were good. One thing that disappointed me was the taste of the smoke in the burger. As someone in the field, it sounds to me that the grill/plancha is not clean and this led to an unpleasant stomach ache. I would be happy if you would take it to your heart's content.

Hands down a top neighborhood bar. Everything here is great: the service, the patrons, the food & drinks. The bar area is cozy, seating is intimate, vibes are 👌
Would recommend groups of more than 4 call ahead (since it is a small space).

We are fortunate to have this great taproom in our neighborhood. The food exceeds our expectations for a neighborhood place. We particularly like the meatloaf and the cheeseburgers. All the staff is friendly and the beer list is well curated.

Bad Brother is one of the best neighborhood bars and restaurants in Philadelphia. I love to take friends and family there for not only their selection at the bar and a delicious and creative menu, but the service and atmosphere are just what you need to feel at home while also enjoying your time out. Get yourself some wings, a burger, and a sausage sandwich! Add a Caesar salad that you won’t regret, either.

Holy wow! This place is a gem. They're so low key and friendly but the service and quality is unparalleled. This might be the best burger I've ever had and everything on our plates was well thought out. The drinks were delicious and generous and all the staff we interacted with were super chill and kind. If I could I'd give it 6 stars. Bad Brother is unassuming and will blow you away.

Best place we went during a weekend of eating and drinking through Philly. Will definitely be back next time we’re in from NYC.

Great vibe, decent food.

Get the sausage roll, it's very good. The bread was tasty and the consistency of meat and cheese was quite flawless. The Caesar salad that came with it was also very good. If my tastebuds serve me right, maybe a little too much anchovies, and the salad probably sat out for too long because it was wilted.

I got the Bleu Cheese Burger. The patty was med-rare, but not consistent across the patty, edges were very dry compared to the cross section. Also the massive slab of bleu cheese wasn't too great and the caramelized onions weren't very tasty. I don't wanna give tips, but make the bleu cheese a sauce/spread. Burger was also quite small for a burger, like slightly bigger than a QPC for $20. The portion was still perfectly sized, but I expected bigger.

Steak fries were maybe perfect. Crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside, they were the best thing on the plate.

The beverage selection is a little daunting and our server didn't know what they were out of, so I had to give 3 options prior to making sure I got a beverage the same time as my partner.

Seating area is a little cramped, but it felt very neighborly, like an amazing local joint it is. Bar was roaring and had tons of energy.

Service was fine, employee dress code is a little questionable.

Walked to our table when we arrived - took over 12 minutes for someone to acknowledge/come to table (the guaranteed 20% creates No Urgency to serve you). Server was nice, but not in any rush.
Food took over 45 minutes to come to table and both burgers were not the right temp and literally COLD.
Again, no sense of urgency - waited 45 minutes for cold food.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY - look at recent reviews!!!!

Stepping in is like getting a warm hug from a cool friend. The cozy, dark vibe is exactly what I look for in a night out—it feels intimate and relaxing without being stuffy. The atmosphere is perfectly complemented by the great music; it set a fantastic backdrop for conversation and enjoying the evening.
The bar truly shines here. Their local beer selection is top-notch and clearly curated with care, offering a fantastic taste of the area. Even better were the unique cocktail offerings—they're creative and expertly made, a definite step above the usual.
While the food menu is short, don't let that fool you. They are clearly focused on quality over quantity. I had the burger, and it was very good—perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. It's the kind of place where you know anything you order will be excellent.
If you're looking for a spot with great atmosphere, superb drinks, and a small but mighty food menu, look no further. Highly recommend!

Best wings I’ve ever had in my life. Perfect cook and crisp, spicy and savory with
Lots of flavor and umami. The cheese
Plate was great and paired well with the occasion. We were unfamiliar with the area but were so happy to find this place! Great vibe and excellent service! They gave us food and drink recommendations that were perfection! Friendly patrons. Would come back to Philly just to visit again even from 3 hours away!
