Good atmosphere. The food is good.
On a Saturday night the delivery of the food is S.L.O.W.
Even at 6pm
Pity because it could be perfect.

I had the sausage roll, which was absolutely delicious! The portion was huge, and the salad that came on the side was fantastic. It was a perfect meal to refuel before going to the penitentiary for their halloween nights!

Overhyped, the good burger is not worth the bad service and weird vibe.
They didn’t know where to seat us even with a reservation. Servers didn’t make eye contact while taking our order and seemed eager to avoid questions. We ordered burgers and wings to start. Never got the wings even when we asked about them. (Got told “they’re on their way” - they were not.) We got the rustic bread instead (which we didn’t order) and thought it was complimentary until we saw it on our bill. Burger was good but fries were burned and inedible. Server finally made eye contact at the end when he asked if we ever got our wings. He ended up comping a drink and removing both the wings and the bread from the bill. Not interested in ever returning.

The food here is amazing! We had the wings and the chicken sandwich. The wings had the best texture I've ever experienced! The flavor was also amazing, perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet with a sauce that added something extra. The sandwich tasted unlike any chicken sandwich that I've had before and yet somehow almost felt like a comfort food. And the fries that it came with were delicious, thick cut with a fantastic skin, and the sauce was also amazing. The servers were also very nice. We will definitely be coming back.

One of my topic recommendations in the city. Such a gem! You must get the wings. Chopped sausage hoagie is also recommended, just go hungry. Interesting beer selection.

4.6 stars was our total experience.
5 stars- Attentive service which came with an automatic 20% gratuity, which I didn’t mind because that’s what I would have given our servers anyway, so fortunately service was good.
Atmosphere is 4.6, it was a really cool place, small so they maximized their space. I believe it was probably a house turned into a restaurant…that’s what it seemed like.
Menu/Food was a 4.5 for me. We were excited & came there thinking we were going to be wowed by their burger menu …but my kids were confused because there was no burger on the menu. There was however a cheese burger served in a hoagie style. It was a bit odd, average in taste. The fries were a bit on the burn side; however, I read other reviews and that seems to be the chef’s preference …crispy.
The sausage sandwich was delicious and the siracha wings were also great! We also loved the bread that came with honey butter spread. I ordered wine by the glass and the portion was quite small, below the normal serving but it was a great montepulciano which I recommend. Overall, we intentionally chose Bad Brother because we thought they were known for their burgers…and there were no burgers.

Okay, so we literally ended up here by chance after another place fell through. It was the best thing that could've happened to us! The place is in the cut in a neighborhood, so it's unsuspecting. If you don't look for it, you may walk by it. Don't walk by... look for it!!! We walk in and are immediately seated upstairs by the hostess. There are two levels with the bar and some seating downstairs and additional seating upstairs with a friendly neighborhood kinda vibe throughout the whole place. There's a retro arcade game on the second floor to keep you company during the short wait for food and drinks. We ordered the Sriracha Buffalo wings and cod and I sampled a few local beers (and settled on a really smooth one - forgotthe name). Now, I've had some wings in my lifetime, and these were the best, hands down! The cod was perfectly cooked with a rich buttery flavor and this delicious sauce drizzle. The food was so good, we asked our server to please give our compliments to the chef! It's on my list every time I'm in Philly. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Neighborhood spot with INCREDIBLE food… cannot say enough good things.
The caesar salad is one of the best I’ve had. We also got the grilled asparagus & maitake bowl which was so delicious… each bite had a new burst of flavor in it. Cheeseburger was nothing short of tasty as well.
All around a great spot, cozy vibe and good service. Automatic 20% service fee included FYI.

We were here for a convention, and it was one of the best meals I had in Philly. We ordered the blue cheese burger, fries, Caesar salad, trout, and the donuts. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Like PERFECTLY cooked. The burger was juicy, and the flavors were all really balanced. The trout was fresh and not overdone. The FRIES!!!
I also had a sassaparilla old fashioned. I couldn't really tell the difference from a regular old fashioned and this one, but it was delicious, nonetheless.
The staff was so friendly and attentive. They even recommended some other things for us to try while we were in the city.

If you come to Bad Brother, the only thing you MUST do is ask for Anne to be your waitress. Anne was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and was extremely personable (not to mention beautiful as well) !!!
