Amazing little bar with a great beer selection and excellent bar food. The wings were among the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from Alberta - we take wings seriously!) knowledgeable server and very friendly. They put a lot of care into the food and drink of this bar and it shows.

I took an Lyft from the art museum to Bad Brother. My lady look up close Restaurants nearby and it had stellar reviews. I am glad we took a Lyft because there area doesn’t look parking friendly. The location is looks like an old corner bar converted to a more modern bar/restaurant. The space is very tight, but the decor, and the music kind of make up for it. We were greeted by the host and he was super friendly. He quickly offered us a drinking menu so we can enjoy drinks while we wait for a table that we reserved on Resy (Thank G-d we did, since it was packed). We were seated upstairs. In my opinion, upstairs is better. My lady ended up getting the clams and I got the burger. Great experience!

A total Fairmount treasure! Wings are among the best I’ve eaten in Philly, and so flavorful. Glad I opted for 7 instead of a dozen, because they are gigantic; so juicy, meaty, and crispy. Perfectly salty fries with delicious aioli are also truly some of the best spuds. They’re thick af but still manage to achieve that elusive crisp exterior and fluffy interior. I’m picky about caesar salad but my caesar side was again…one of the best caesars. Yes, there’s no doubt a trend to this meal. The Dancing Gnome on draft delivered and our server was terrific. Hope to return in a week or two for one of their glorious burgers! God bless Bad Brother.

I went here for the first time last night and can’t wait to go back! The service was fantastic - friendly, efficient, and really laid back. It had a dive bar feeling but the drinks and food were incredible. They had a bunch of Dewey beers on tap and none of them disappointed. We tried four different dishes and each were amazing, but the crab cakes with Old Bay mashed potatoes was my favorite! Prices were very reasonable, atmosphere was cozy, and I just really loved it. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Food was amazing and menu rotates often. Loved the sausage roll, sriracha soy wings, and the honey butter for the bread. Wish I could have kept eating . We park at the lot by the penitentiary if we can’t find street parking.

Vegetarian perspectiveReally only one vegetarian option. However, it was good and I liked the vibe of this place. Very unassuming from the outside but busy inside! Service was great, impressive drink menu. I got a sour beer and a cider. The dessert pear donuts were amazing too! Vegetarians/vegans, just make sure to check the menu ahead since options are very limited.

People believe nowadays you have to search far and wide for the next great thing. Bad brother bucks the trend, offering the best neighborhood spot around that is accessible to all! Want a quick bite late night? Boom, the bad brothers have your back fam with a menu full of stables and new eats. Want a romantic drink on date night? This special, one of a kind U bar is slinging out the best drinks around. Want to watch the game with some wings? Look no further, these wings will knock your socks off while you sit back and watch your team win it all. The staff are the friendliest bunch you could ask for and always have a smile on rain or shine. I couldn’t be more proud of their success and it’s a testament to their hard work and spirit. Bad brother is one of the best gems in the city and I can’t wait for others to enjoy it as much as we do!

An absolute hidden gem, and one of my favorite spots in Philly -- for the friendly vibe, the personable service, the beautifully curated beer and wine lists, and the always exceptional, absurdly delicious food. Perfect spot for happy hour, a foodie-favorite dinner experience, or anything in between. Highly recommended.

We were left with a fantastic experience! The beer menu was stellar and we shared the cheese plate, Sriacha wings and fish on a plate they had on the menu. The wings were perfectly crispy and the spice level was on point. The tile fish had amazing crispy skin and tender flaky meat. All the staff were very attentive, professional, enthusiastic and friendly.

A charming, recently opened local spot in the neighborhood. The service is both efficient and friendly. They offer appealing happy hour deals and specials. The drink menu is diverse, featuring a wide selection of wines, beers, ciders, and notably, a variety of meads. I particularly enjoyed the Colony Mead. As for the food, the three-cheese board was excellent, especially considering it was on special for just $10. I'm definitely looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu!

Great neighborhood place with very friendly souls behind the bar and sitting at the bar. The food was so good… really good. Meatloaf melts?! Amazing.
