Bahia Bowls Chestnut Hill

This used to be my most fav place to order a good acai bowl or milkshake. I used to go almost once every week. But now for whatever reason everytime I go, I keep receiving service from staff with hair out hanging over my food. And IF the hair is pulled back in a ponytail , the hair is hanging over the shoulder too close to my orders.
I've experienced twice placing an order, staff putting on gloves, grabs hair and pulls hair away from their face WITH gloves on mind you and then commence to making my food. No thanks. I cancelled my order before they could even begin both times and separate dates. I have commented about this last year and it is still happening here. Disheartening because the food here was so good.

Whoever is making these thing during time of 12:00pm-2:00pm Monday- Friday, I salute you. Makes my lunch time sooooo much more satisfying lol. Thank you. I am addicted 🤣❤️

Bowls were good, smaller sizes for the same price as other places that sell Acia bowls.

I visit here often, the staff is always very friendly, and I really love the Açaí bowl. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to Havanna. She's always so pleasant and truly a great worker

Waited 30 min for a bowl. Bunch of employees standing around not offering any help. Buy the time I got my bowl it was thawed. Paid almost $20 for a smoothie

Saturday morning. It’s busy but waited 30 minutes for a smoothie. It’s like they’re doing you a favor.

This place has went down tremendously, maybe it’s new owners…i ordered a pataya bowl and I got more toppings then the actual dragon fruit sorbet and it was literally thrown together. I use to love this place but things have changed

They’re so expensive which would be fine if they actually gave you those portions. Adding chicken to the Caesar wrap is $3.50 and you can barely see the chicken in the wrap. The wrap is $13 but it’s tiny as hell and the wrap they used they didn’t close all the way and it’s too stiff to hold the contents in. I used to love their stuff when I first discovered them but now every time I order there’s a problem. Not worth it for how much $ you spend. I stopped ordering for months and then decided to try it again and once again I regretted it. They need to take more pride in what they serve if they’re gonna be charging people so much.

I ordered on uber eats spent $60 in total for two bowls. There is literally no acai in my bowl, it’s unbelievable. It’s all granola and fruit. I will never order here again and don’t recommend them in any way shape or form. If I wanted cereal that’s what I would’ve ordered instead of spending $30 a bowl for granola and fruit. Unacceptable.

Had an absolutely awful experience at this shop. I hate to leave a negative review, and tend to only want to highlight a business, but this was an unreal experience. We ordered two smoothies at about 10:15 and noticed there was three groups already sitting inside. After waiting about ten minutes, not a single person had received their order and we started to notice how frustrated others were. We then waited over 40 minutes for two smoothies. We received one and waited easily over 5 more minutes until we received the second. When I asked if my smoothies was coming the girl behind the counter stated yes and they only had one blender. While I understand that situation, we were the only two left in the store at this point and if their excuse was takeout orders, it’s insane to put those before those in the store. When I received my drink she passed it over the counter saying “Here you go” and turned around. No apology or anything which is just so unprofessional after making someone wait 45 mins for a smoothie. So $20 and almost an hour later we left with two mediocre smoothies. I will never waste my money or time coming here again.

Went here for a Saturday morning bowl and I wasn’t disappointed. I will definitely go again. The fruit bowl I ate was absolutely delicious.
