It’s a neighborhood bar. No frills. Good kitchen. Pretty good bar food. 4 pool tables and a working happy hour crowd. Decent location. Parking is limited on lot, but street parking within a block.

I used to go to the Bala Inn to shoot pool, Between the ghetto bartenders and the whole place smelling like fried chicken grease. parking is a nightmare if the lot is full.
it's not my favorite place.

CASH ONLY BAR! Went to this bar at 11:30 PM on a Friday night. Started off with good vibes but it was short lived. The bartenders seem nice but ordered the same thing and was charged different prices. A fight broke out at the pool table closest to the men's restroom. Lights got turned on and many people left the bar. Called an Uber immediately and as I'm waiting people were arguing and running to get the gun.

I have been coming to this bar for years and lately the food has been getting worst my last experience was 8/17/2024. I ordered a salmon burger and sweet potato fries. I wait a hour and the salmon was black and hard at the bottom it was over cooked completely no taste and they put it on a Martin's hamburger bun and forgot the sauce and the fries did not taste good at all. When I approached about how long and told them it should not take salmon that long to cook that should been a hint to check it. This bad and the people really don't be caring about how your food come out I wish they get it together because I came there for that.. wow

This is my spot. The food is normally good but lately no so much. This Thursday night crew doesn’t represent the kitchen well at all. Had to go get my money back tonight, thry got me the last 2 times. I wouldn’t recommend eating here on a Thursday night. Dude cooking was even back there smoking a vape.. I think the owner needs to step back in and really regulate and train the crew because they are not handling his business properly.
