In speaking with the manager, he took accountability and told me he made the decision to switch my order rather than calling to inform me they’re out of what I ordered, hoping that would be acceptable. So that’s how they do business? Restaurants have the option to remove items from DoorDash that are unavailable, so what I experienced is unacceptable. Now I have to go through DoorDash to get a refund which is another inconvenience. Not a good look!

I've tried almost all the Vietnamese restaurants in the city, and by far, this place is my favorite one in Philly. You can tell the vegetables are very fresh, and the flavors are very authentic- close to what you would get in Vietnam.

We dined at Banh Mi & Bottles on 09/21, and our experience was somewhat bittersweet. The food itself was delicious, drinks were fine. They would not do any modifications to any of the dishes (or cocktails) which was a bit of a shock to us because of allergies. They were out of a few items we ordered (understandable) and service was just meh. When we got our bill, we could not believe they had put auto gratuity TWICE on it. We were not even a group of 6ppl and the gratuity presented was around $115-120 dlls ?, suggesting us to even tip more per the check. We obviously reached out to the server who was bussing our table (different one than the original server who basically dissapeared after taking our orders) and they spoke to the manager. Turned out it was a “mistake” typed in. They got it corrected but left us all with a sour experience at the end. Prob wouldn’t go back.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile from the hostess, Amy. Both Amy and our server, Polan, were friendly and helpful. We had a special ask and they had no problem accommodating us.
Also, the food was delicious. Whoever owns this place is lucky to have such amazing employees.

Dunno if restaurant week the ingredients are different but I felt like the ribeye is overcooked, it tasted more like stewed meat. our buns has half of the meat compared to the ones other people posted. Pho was too salty. A little bit let down since I came after seeing those beautiful photos. Recommend think twice or lower your expectations.

the food was divine. for someone who sometimes has a hard time finding really good vegetarian banh mi, I was extremely pleased. the service was quick, and the staff was very personable and attentive. the whole place was very clean also, I really liked the chic but laid back vibe. we will definitely be back when we're in the area!

The Special Tamari Margarita Was Delicious, Especially That Savory/Spicy Chili Salt On The Rim. Banh Mi Was…. ?.. To Actually Have Banh Mi In Their Name, I Was Expecting So Much More.
They take Vietnamese food to ANOTHER level. If you're looking for a perfect date night spot, this is the place to go. Not only are the food & drinks absolutely amazing, but the service is impeccable. They take care of you, and everything is so well thought out that it shows in the food's flavors, textures, and the overall experience. I haven't had Vietnamese food like this before, it takes a lot of talent to create food that looks exquisite, tastes incredible and is 100% authentic. My favorite dishes were the Chả Cá Lã Vọng, Hến Xúc Bánh Đa, and the Viet Cajun Shrimp Bowl. We will for sure be coming back.

Very good Vietnamese place. Delicious cocktails and beer. The bao buns, calamari,baby ribs were fantastic along with the pho. The garlic butter noodles were so flavorful and the ambience was very very good. Will go back soon.
