If you’re ordering food from this place on Uber Eats and pay for extra items, they never include the items you paid for. They always try to scam customers by not removing unavailable items from their Uber Eats menu or system when they receive your order. Instead, they just put a sticky note on the bag saying the item is unavailable, and you’ll still be charged for it if you forget to report it to Uber Eats.

I ordered the Pho House Special today and it was soo good. I ordered rare filet steak and let the sliced steak cook in the hot broth. This will be my new go-to meal this winter.

Decent Vietnamese food in Philly city center. I really like the taste of their congee, I think it is because of the ginger. However, I don't really like the dồi. Bún thịt nướng is okay and portion is huge. This bánh bèo is probably the best I have had, but homemade is still better. It took them forever to bring this out tho and no communication about how long this would take was mads.

When I first walked in I was very put off by the massive tv screen showing Fox News. It just seems tone deaf in times like these and also probably alienating to customers who walk in and it’s the first thing they see. It felt really out of place for a restaurant in the heart of Philly. So, not a great first impression, but this restaurant totally redeemed itself! The banh cuon was the best I ever had. As was the com tam thit nuong! They had lots of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as the banh cuon and banh beo that are really hard to come by even with such a diverse food scene in Philly. The banh xeo and spring rolls were just ok for me, but still very fresh and high quality. Everything came out super hot and fresh, and you could taste it. I’ve been thinking about the banh cuon ever since, and will definitely be back for more. Super delicious fish sauce also. The ambience is very nice. The items are pretty pricey, but delicious and authentic Vietnamese food is hard to come by so I was fine to pay the price. Other than the initial impression upon walking in, this place is a 10/10!

The waitor got our order wrong but insisted that it was correct. We could hear another staff mocking us in the middle of the restaurant about the order. They eventually gave us the correct item, but the experience was extremely uncomfortable. I really wanted to like the place but sadly could not recommend this to anyone after the way we were treated.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Philly. Our waiter got the order wrong, then turned around and blamed us— 2 calm, respectful customers. Unprofessional and disappointing. It's funny to realize how many bad reviews they got about the service and servers' manner but never improve.

I am a foodie . I am always searching for new restaurant to try. I heard about Banh Philly a year and always wanted to check it out . I had the opportunity today . The food was good and portion is decent . My only complaint is that I ordered a strawberry smoothie that didn’t taste fresh . I was denied a refund even though I only took 2 sips . Before even leaving the restaurant I had diarrhea which I suspect is from the smoothie . In short , I had to pay $7.99 to get diarrhea.
