While visiting Philadelphia over Easter weekend, I booked Easter brunch at Bank & Bourbon—and it did not disappoint.

The endless buffet was impressive, offering something for everyone. From a made-to-order omelet station and hearty carving stations to fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, and decadent desserts, every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The quality and variety were top-notch, and no one was leaving hungry!

It was a perfect way to celebrate the holiday—great food, warm service, and a lively atmosphere. I’d definitely return for another special occasion brunch.

My Aunt was staying in the Loews Hotel for a speaking engagement at a conference held there and she asked us to come meet her for dinner. I made reservations for 5 people through the RESY App for 4/6/25.

We were seated on time and the service staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered our meals. I ordered the crab soup and Salmon. We had enjoyed our meals until we saw a mouse scurry across the floor in the dining area near our table. This was my first time eating here and I was very surprised that a mouse was present. It made me not want to eat anything else. We didn’t notice anything funny about the food or anything but just the thought of there are possibly rodents in the restaurant turned us off. The manager comped what desserts we ordered from our table but honestly we could have caused a more unpleasant scene. It was almost like they know and this is what they do to make up for it. I didn’t like that.

For the restaurant owners and operators, I wanted to leave a better overall review score but this needs to be addressed immediately. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but I most likely will not return. And it’s unfortunate because the food was delicious.

Generally speaking, the food they serve is decent, but the staff's attitude is rather impolite. Their way of clearing the dishes is also quite disruptive. They kept coming over to check if they could take away our plates even though we hadn’t finished eating. When we were still having our last dessert, they rudely took the dish away without any explanation. Throughout the process, they didn’t bother to communicate the reason. I checked the time, and it was just closing time—we hadn’t stayed past it for long. We spent nearly $500, yet we left feeling quite dissatisfied. I told the server that the second steak I ordered was overcooked, but they didn’t even apologize or offer any compensation.

Went there today for “happy hour” and the beer special was a $5 miller lite and that’s the funniest thing I’ve seen as a special in philadelphia

Unfortunately we were not very impressed. My husband and I went to Bank and Bourbon for dinner when I flew in to visit him while he was away in a work trip. It had really good reviews and it seemed like a good place to try. The atmosphere was pretty nice and modern. It was restaurant week and we were given a set menu with a few choices. We both got the hanger steak and you could definitely tell that it was a “mass production” style entree. Very fatty and no flavor. The waitress also had a major attitude. Very disappointed!

Great drinks & desserts here; I love coming here for a cocktail, and an after-dinner sweet. Irene is especially nice and amazing.

Terrible customer service. I have been trying for almost 3 weeks to reserve one of the bourbon packages for my boyfriend’s birthday. I left an email 1/3/25 and received no response. I call a week later , they take my name and number, and I have not received a call back. I call today someone picks and hangs up the phone. When I call back no one picks up. It should not be such a hassle when trying to book a reservation for a package they offer on their website

Irene was that girl! Loved the food and drinks here! Steak tartare to beef short rib sandwich was amazing.

I came for drinks, maybe an app. I was told by the hostess I wasn’t allowed in the dining room unless I was ordering a full meal. The dining room wasn’t even half full. I’ve never been denied access to a restaurant based on my potential order

I love a good hotel bar, and Bank & Bourbon in the historic Lowe's doesn't disappoint. Set in a rustic, industrial farmhouse interior, the lighting is moody and dark. They have a good variety of seating, and a large bar. Open seating, so find your own spot. Food is average, so are the drinks. Service good, but it can be a little slow, but nothing annoying. Depending on what's going on at the convention center, the atmosphere can change drastically. Go when a big convention for something you appreciate is in town and you won't be disappointed.
