Well, let’s start off with the fact that the food here is amazing, so far, every single time I’ve eaten the ramen here with my girlfriend, we both were in for an amazing treat, the ramen is delicious and the broth is flavorful, and we also have gotten onigiri and spam masubi, both of which were also delicious, and the place and atmosphere are very cute and very cozy, not only that, the service here is often very friendly and sweet and welcoming, and they seem to really care about their customers and their experience, highly recommend! 10/10

I recently visited this restaurant yesterday to order takeout and unfortunately witnessed something that really left a bad impression. I saw a customer was patiently waiting for a charge discrepancy to be resolved by an employee and when the manager approached the situation, she was extremely rude and hostile. The customer remained calm and respectful, yet the manager’s tone and attitude were unnecessarily aggressive and impolite.

It honestly made me uncomfortable and gave me a bad taste about wanting to eat there again. What stood out even more was that the employee who was originally supporting the customer was very kind, patient and it seemed that she was genuinely trying to help resolve the issue professionally. In my opinion the customer did not deserve to be treated that way.

Customer service starts at the top and I hope management reflects on how situations like this are handled in the future.

Besides that experience, my food was delicious!

The location is a little hard to spot. But the food is really good. Decent selection and the boba tea is unexpectedly good. I tried roast pork bao and ramein. It is up to my stardard. Overall good experience will definitely come back.

Absolutely love Bao Button! The handmade bao buns are soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor-roasted pork bao is my go-to, but the cheesesteak gyoza is such a fun twist and super tasty too. Ordered takeout and it was quick, hot, and fresh. Portions are good and everything tastes authentic yet creative. Definitely adding this to my regular rotation in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

The manager was rude and disrespectful. The company recently increased market prices without updating the menu, and instead of handling the up-charge situation professionally, the manager chose to argue rather than resolve it with ease. Her (the manager) employee was kind and genuinely trying to help fix what was clearly a miscommunication, but management escalated the situation unnecessarily even after seeing her employee having good respectable conversation with myself (the customer).

As customers, we were charged additional fees that were not listed on the menu, which felt misleading and unfair. We understand that prices can change and mistakes happen, but transparency and accountability are essential. A simple acknowledgment and respectful conversation would have made all the difference.

Instead, the experience left us feeling unheard and undervalued. Good customer service starts at the top, and when management responds with hostility rather than solutions, it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. $50+ later and I left disgusted.

Best advice: don’t eat here if you expect management to honor their mistakes and handle customer concerns professionally.

Amazing drinks, the spam musubi lunch deal is delicious. The curry is so so yummy! Highly recommend. Fatty and friendly service everytime. Heads up parking can be a little tight, and it's technically in Fishtown Crossing, your GPS is lying to you.

Super underrated spot. While it's generally pretty empty whenever we go, the music and decor are cute; playing old school Japanese city pop with an all wood & ceramic interior. The staff are kind, without being overly sociable/talkative, and the kiosks ensure you're not in danger of being upsold needlessly. But the real star here is the food. Their ramen is great; pork well cooked with a crispy exterior, the broth hella flavorful, and noodles just firm enough. It's a shame about the location, not being in a high foot traffic area and all, but this place is worth the extra effort to get to for a nice dine in meal listening to some great tracks.

Have been twice, will go again to try more of the menu. It's very good, the lava dumplings are a favorite, also the ramen. Imo the curry could be a little less sweet but I like hot curry and it wasn't bad at all, and it's nice that you can get a full veg version (tofu cutlet). Plenty of food in the servings as well. Very cute inside as well and will impress your date or kids.

Everything was hot and didn’t take more than 10 minutes to come out, the whole place is relaxing with new board games and also a couple books to read if you’re bored. The sitting is fabulous as theirs booths, a large table in the middle, smaller seats for 2, also for 4. Calming music and the vibe is fine, The food is so dang good I almost finished everything also.
