Great food for a decent price I ordered a drink which I didn't like. They took it back with my complicates & asked if I wanted something else instead. Great customer service!
Great food ... service could have been better essentially since they were not busy when we were in.
All the food we got was excellent. I would recommend making a reservation as they can get busy. We had good experience and a great ambiance.
Service, drinks, food all outstanding! One of our favorite go to restaurants for special occasions ❤️
The food is amazing. Get something with the rosemary chips. The cocktails are delicious but a little bit expensive. Indoor and outdoor seating both have a nice ambiance.
This was our first time at the Gatehouse. The atmosphere at lunchtime was great: lots of people enjoying themselves. Service was quick and efficient. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Some dishes were unique and definitely worth trying. Old standbys, like fish and chips, were outstanding as well. There are many more things on the menu we want to try. We don't live in Philly itself but make frequent trips to the city. The Gatehouse will become one of our “go to” places for eating.
We had an absolutely terrible experience. Our waitress, raised her voice at our table and continued to be rude throughout the rest of our visit. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we definitely won't be coming back. First and last time waste of 100 dollars save time to go somewhere more welcoming!
Food was fine , not great . Server was curt and not friendly . Food runners were great , warm friendly and chatty . They deserved the tip not the server . Drinks were good . Not sure I'd go back but nice to try something new
I had an ok experience for my first visit at Gatehouse. There weren't enough servers for outdoor seating, so we were taken upstairs. Then another server arrived and we went back downstairs. I ordered the beet and arugula salad with salmon and it was ok. The salad and dressing were pretty bland. I asked for balsamic dressing and that made a big difference. Overall, my visit was just ok and I'll explore other options the next time I'm at the Navy Yard.
We were very disappointed. The location at the Navy Yard is great if you're coming or going to an event at the Linc, but that's the only good thing I could say. The place was noisy The bartender was in a mood. She never once asked if we wanted a second drink. They got my girlfriends order wrong, and we had to send it back. Both our burgers were WAY undercooked, and most of our meal was left on our plates as we left. We will not be back.

Quaint spot, great service food was okay. However, not many menu options. The seating is uncomfortable.

Couldn’t believe this place wasn’t busier when I was there (though maybe that was a plus after all). One of the coolest little spots in PHL imo, the navy yard itself is pretty neat. will be back😌
