Loved the food and atmosphere. Enjoyed the fall specially cocktail, the beet salad and burger. Was in the Navy Yard for a walk and this was the perfect spot to eat afterwards.
We have been to Gatehouse several times before a concert or event at the Sports Complex. The food and drinks are fantastic. The service was fast but we didn't feel rushed. The location is perfect for attending an event at the arenas. Either a quick drive over or leave your car at the Navy Yard and walk over. Just make sure you make reservations on a night with scheduled events!
Food was good. Desert was great. And drinks were even better.

Went here a few weeks ago and loved it. Decided I needed to bring my husband back to try it out - booked a reservation and the hostess was very polite and got us in despite being early. There was virtually no one there as it was 4pm. Asked if I could get all flats with wings and was met with a rude no - I actually thought she was joking and she was sincere she said she would check but they don't do that. I never heard back before she put my order in and luckily they did come to the table with all flats but my husband got all drumsticks (he took one for the team for me I guess) - when the food came I asked what the happy hour cocktails included she said blood orange margarita I said perfect say no more I'll have that - despite being there during happy hour time frame (ordered the drink after 430pm ) she charged me full price. The skillet cookie was burnt and SO thin - took a photo of this - imagine the thinnest layer you could put in a deep dish skillet and then burn it and that is what we got. The whole time the server had attitude and it felt like we were bugging her that we were there. Completely opposite of my first experience- not sure I'll be back.
Great pregame (Eagles) spot to enjoy ice cold draft beers and appetizers. Wings were really good. Service by Tobias and Annie was outstanding. Really cool building, super outside space, good pub food, and really great staff.
Ask for Chris, he is a super sexy man.
Only place I have sent a meal back to the kitchen twice. The issue was explained as we don’t do well when we get “slammed” with too many customers. This was stated by the server, not the manager who should have come to the table to deal with the issues. At three tables close to us, people did not eat their meals and the people sitting next to us said it was the worst dining experience they have ever had in Philadelphia. Won’t gonhere again.

We sat outdoors and it was so nice. We were able to bring our dog, and watch the game outside. Highly recommend. Food was great and the beers were cold. Staff very friendly.
This was a tough day, football game at noon, baseball game at 6 pm and rock show at 7:30 pm. Arrived at 6 pm server was very pleasant, drinks arrived, ordered and from there it went down hill. Food took FOREVER to arrive fish tacos and a burger. Not great, not bad. It's was just a really long time coming. The server was very attentive and apologetic. The kitchen was the big road block. Hopefully, they will get some help. They need it. Beer was good, football on all tvs.
We stayed overnight at the Courtyard and attended a concert at the Xfinity Center. This is a very convenient location. Nice to sit outside when the weather is good. Unfortunately, food and service are terrible.

I wish I had better thoughts on the Gatehouse. We arrived for 5;00PM reservation. There seemed to be confusion on where to seat us. Once seated upstairs we were not greeted by any servers for 10 minutes. Other side of restaurant was being served in what appeared to be a timely manner. Finally a friendly server came and took our order. We then waited 20 minutes for a draft beer and a glass of Pinot Grigio We waited any40 minutes for a cheese burger and a BLT! The server apologized and said the kitchen was not prepared to handle such large crowds. Shut his wax before the Phillies game after the Temple Football game and before the Eric Clapton concert. The food was okay but it was cold. Literally everyone that was seated in our section of tbe restaurant after us got up and left. This is a cute spot with great potential but they will blow it if they do not clear up management and staffing issues. Honestly I would avoid. We went at 5 and walked to the Xfinity arena and got to our seats at 7:25! Don't say you were not warned! I hope the Gatehouse gets it together but I don't think I will chance it again. To many other spots in neighborhood to try!
Great food, reasonably priced, good service and perfect atmosphere for before or after an event at the stadiums!
Ok place before a eagles game. Food wasn’t that good but nice environment and beer is cold.
