I’ve been here for brunch, lunch, and dinner and I’ve enjoyed Bar Bombon for each meal! I’d say I love the brunch in particular, with great coffee and both sweet and savory options. The dining room is a tad small though, so I recommend making a reservation on weekends

The website was misleading—I came specifically for Puerto Rican food, only to find a menu dominated by Mexican offerings. The poblano with chorizo was underwhelming.
Out of the many rum options available, only one was Puerto Rican. Meanwhile, tequila was overflowing. And not a single coffee brand from the island, which was disappointing.
I saw reviews from six years ago mentioning plans to add more Puerto Rican items. That same promise was repeated to me tonight.
Visiting Philly for the weekend, this experience felt like a total waste of time. Won’t be returning.

My sister’s birthday is today July 4, 2025 she is a vegan and chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner. It was only two of us and we only order rice. Streef corn and tacos. An hour later still no food. I asked the server what was the hold up and he said he would check. He came back and told us the food would be out in a few minutes. An order came out but it was for a table that was outside. Who by the way, came in 30 minutes after us. We paid for the appetizer and left. Very disappointed an

I really want to remain nice with this review but I want to be honest. The vibe was alright. Waiters and host were very friendly. I ordered the empanadas, nachos, meatballs, stuffed peppers and enchiladas. The empanadas was overly stuffed and with the off putting taste of impossible meat. Didn’t taste like it was seasoned much. The nachos was edible but truly I only ate it because I was hungry. I asked for guacamole and it was turning brown a bit. Which can be avoided simple by adding lime juice to the top. The enchiladas was an overwhelmingly strong flavor of cumin. The stuffed pepper was just… it was just bad. Honestly this spot was so good around 2022. Over the years it just lost its integrity and passion. 🙏🏻 bathroom can use some cleaning as well. Wasn’t a good date night.

The menu is perfect... it's all vegan! I picked out a couple things, but my server had suggested her favorites. The Peruvian Yuca isn't something I'd order... a bit spicy but so good. Really could have just enjoyed the starters. The Clasico Wedge Salad was delicious... generous with the dressing:) The Double Chorizo Burger comes with a large amount of fries topped with chipotle ranch. They have a Brunch menu for Saturday and Sunday til 3 and hope to try it when I return to Philly.
Love this place sm! Amazing for someone who doesn’t eat dairy but wants Mexican food. Really good drinks & food!

Visited a friend in Baltimore and she brought me here. Nice diversity of food options, of course everything is vegan which is always a pro. Service was EXCEllent. Food was great and I would come back if I was ever in area again.

My least favorite of the three Marquis restaurants (HipCityVeg & charlie was a sinner being the other 2). Small serving sizes and sorta bland offerings. They don't give the food any real personality.
The size of the room and the amount of people make it really loud inside too.
The cheesesteak empanadas are great though.
