Place in a beautiful. Went to visit my daughter Brianna on Valentine’s Day. You can sit directly in front of the chefs while They cook (obviously don’t distract them) . Every server that came to us was amazing. Head chef was very kind. But, let’s talk about the food!! The food was exquisite!!!! I was afraid because the menu can be intimidating but I must say everything was delicious and the prices were great for the quality of food served. The margarita pizza, ricotta cheese with the bread and tiramisu were my favorites!! If it was not for my recent wisdom tooth removal I would’ve ate more. Thank you all for the warmest welcome and hospitality we were shown. Molly, thank you for your service darling.

So little space that almost hard to move around. With every movement you can hit someone 😆Other then that -all was good.

2.5 years later we found ourselves in philly. we popped in on a busy night and they squeezed us in even though no reservations were out. we sat down and realized we had been here before! this time we enjoyed the papas, pasta genovese and tonarelli nero. everything was very good and would only order the papas and genovese again in a heartbeat. we ordered another bundino and not even halfway into it we decided to order another.

popped in right before closing time just for dessert. our server was attentive even though we were just there for dessert and a drink! the bundino was so damn good. paired with a red wine, it was a slice of heaven. would love to try their food out next time as the atmosphere seemed cozy and the food looked delicious

*Ricotta and potatoes. Obviously beer/wine.

Went for happy hour for 2 at the bar. Good wine and tasty/soft ricotta with bread. The burger was nothing special. Nice crispy potatoes. Pleasant bartenders. Happy hour used to be better unfortunately.

We tried Barbuzzo as part of Restaurant week. We found the food to be tasty and very well prepared. The star was actually the toast with ricotta cheese dip at the very beginning. I had the Bronzino and my wife had the beef dish as part of the main course. As I said the Bronzino was well prepared, boneless, with a crisped skin. Small orzo-like pasta, small mushrooms, in a tasty sauce came with it. The beef was a big bowl with the meat, very tender and tasty, and lots of other elements that was generous enough that my wife could not finish it and took half home. The restaurant is small with a large bar. We thought at first that it would be one of those that required raised voices to hear, but although it was quick full, we were able to speak in normal voices. We had nice cucumber mocktails. As we were leabving my wife said she would go back there even if it were not on a Restaurant Week special.

My wife and I both very much enjoyed our dishes: a shared meatball appetizer; Bronzino and gnocchi platters; and a shared budino dessert. Service was excellent. Our only issues were: 1) There was very little space between our table for two and the table to our side, making it difficult for me to get to and from my seat without brushing against the people at the next table. 2) Because our table was very close to the front door, every time the door was opened, a blast of freezing air hit us.

The restaurant week menu was varied and excellent. Food was great with ample portions. The waiter was great.

The food was way over salted and the pairing of ingredients was atrocious. I sent my food back. My server was very sweet and tried her best to accommodate me, but I will not back.

This place is fantastic! The food was really good. One of the best restaurants I've been to in years.

The gnocchi was so freaking good. The meatballs were very tender and the bodino was so sweet!

The only downside to the restaurant is how small the dining area is. We were sitting right next to the bar at a table and every time someone walked past, stuff would fall off the table. It's no big problem though when the food was that freaking good.

I was here for girls night out during restaurant week. I appreciated the restaurant week menu options. It was a packed night with high energy — not an intimate space. The food was good with different flavors and textures with small portion sizes. The service was great — attentive and thoughtful.

A definite must for a fine evening! The ambiance, the food, and especially the service were excellent.

Consistently good. Have been here many times and always enjoy the meal. Pizzas are delish & so is everything else! Seating can be an issue but the food keeps me coming back! Have never found a budino I liked more than this one… that alone is a reason to come here.

Amazing food, cozy atmosphere, at a reasonable price, close to the City Hall! What more can one ask for!
