Our family really enjoyed Barbuzzo. The appetizers and pizza were stellar. Unfortunately, the squid was so sour it was inedible. We will be back again and just not order that dish.
Food, service, and ambiance were all top notch as always. Seriously some of the best pizza in the city!
The food and ambiance is amazing and drinks are reasonably priced. I wasn't aware that happy hour was only at the bar or outside until we got there so that was a bit disappointing. The sangria was outstanding and I got the paccheri pasta dish which was delicious. I can't remember the name of the other pasta dish but it had pine nuts and was very bland. I wouldn't recommend getting that one. Overall pretty solid date night spot at a reasonable price.
Barbuzzo is one of our favorites. The food is consistently delicious. I always find a number of options to meet my pescatarian diet. The service is warm, efficient, and professional. The ambience feels like a neighborhood “spot,” but we always feel welcome.
Went as a group of 7 which was great for being able to order and taste several different dishes. The gnocchi, branzino and the mushroom pasta were standouts, but everything was delicious with great mix of flavors and textures. Service was attentive and food/drinks came out quickly. You must save room for the salted caramel budino!
Great busy place with excellent options all around. Only issue minor is that the dishes could have a bit more of the protein that was ordered. Ie more calamari in the calamari dish etc. but really excellent
Had a wonderful meal. Tartare and whipped ricotta were great starters. Bronzino and Uvio pizza were top notch.
The food is consistent and always flavorful. Plan to share 2-3 small plates per person with the others in your party. The signature cocktails are great. Save room for the salted chocolate budhino for dessert. The outdoor seating is adjacent to the bike lane on 13th street, so you don't have cars or trucks driving by near you. Outdoor seating is a great option for immersing yourself in the vibe of this energetic part of center city when the weather is nice. Service is always friendly and attentive.
We had a fantastic meal, and our server was so helpful in getting appetizers going quickly so one of our group could eat and head out early, while the rest of the meal was still being prepped. We had a pizza (Funghi... amazing), arancini, mixed olives, the Barbuzzo board, and gnocchi. And there was an interesting selection of beers on tap which went well with everything.
Barbuzzo never disappoints! Pizzas are excellent as are all the other plates on the menu. Check out the branzino.

Chris was a great waiter, knowledgeable, attentive and personable. Food was delicious. We had at least one, in some instances two from each category/ enjoyed them all. Tiramisu, the only desert we got was my least favorite.
It's my absolute favorite. They should also bring back the original French Farmer because that drink was so perfect .
This is a favorite restaurant of mine in Philadelphia! It has been consistently delicious for many years and has a nice ambiance!
Literally one of the best meals we have ever had. This place is a must stop for us when we are in Philly. The food gets better every time. We had the roasted carrots, melon salad , lamb sausage and hanger steak. We struggled to pick a best dish they were all beyond exceptional. It's the mark of a great chef that can elevate a side dish and a salad to be on par with an entree. I can not recommend this place enough. Go, you will not be disappointed!
Food quality was Excellent the prices were amazing. They specialize in Pizza but the hangar steak was spectacular. Had the meatball app and a pasta dish. All recommendations. Our server ryan was exceptional very busy and handled it perfectly. We never felt neglected or hovered over perfect.
