Please fix your games. Some of your games take your tokens but won’t operate. I came in on Friday December 13th 2024 went to my favorite game Wild Western and took my token but would not start the game. Same for a few other games. Can’t ever get my tokens back smh. Other than that it’s a great place to hang out
Retro games and limited seating a hipsters dream!

This was a great find we stumbled upon and hung out in while we were waiting to meet up with some friends. There were tons of games, and they were all in great shape and reasonably priced. There’s a cash to arcade coin conversion machine inside, and there’s a full bar as well. Plenty of seats at the bar, and there’s also lots of spots in the arcade area for you to set your drinks down on while you play. Next time I’m in Philly I’ll probably suggest to my friends we meet up here for the night instead!

The games are fun enough but alot of the machines take coins without giving you credits, also the bouncer accused me of smoking weed in the outside area so I just left before it became a bigger problem (went back to get my friends to leave and the bouncer wouldnt let me in because i lied about smoking?). Drinks are average but the bouncers will mess with you if they're bored

Always fantastic! Great games and great atmosphere. Place is kept warm and has nice bathrooms and a good outside chill out place. Have great food but a little over priced.

The staff were racist to my friend and kicked him out without reason. When we asked to see a manger the bouncer would not assist us and they made up and excuse that my friend had stumbled and must leave. When we asked to please speak to the manager, the staff called my friend a racial slur.

I was recently informed of an incident that occurred at Barcade Fishtown. My friend, an adult with diagnosed and federally protected special needs, was not initially allowed into the bar due to the symptoms of his disability. Not only was he not allowed in, but he was forcefully pushed out by a bouncer after the bouncer was clearly informed of the disability. This establishment has violated the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). The ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in employment, State and local government, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications, with Barcade being a public accommodation. Furthermore, ADA Title III covers businesses and nonprofit service providers that are public accommodations. Public accommodations are, as defined by Title III, private entities who own, lease, lease to, or operate facilities such as restaurants, retail stores, hotels, movie theaters, private schools, convention centers, doctors’ offices, homeless shelters, transportation depots, zoos, funeral homes, day care centers, and recreation facilities including sports stadiums and fitness clubs. Public accommodations must comply with basic nondiscrimination requirements that prohibit exclusion, segregation, and unequal treatment. They also must comply with specific requirements related to reasonable modifications to policies, practices, and procedures; effective communication with people with hearing, vision, or speech disabilities; and other access requirements. Barcade is in violation of this act. The ADA allows for my friend to file his complaint of title III violations with the Department of Justice, and to protect his civil rights, I absolutely believe he should.
My family, one of whom is special needs, was recently there to celebrate a birthday. The bouncer misidentified my family member with special needs as being drunk and would not allow him into the establishment. My brother was just nervous and fumbled his wallet when asked for his ID. The bouncer was verbally abusive and became physically aggressive, pushing and shoving my family out. There is no excuse for these actions and it cannot be tolerated.
