The chef's specials are always a hit. I love trying new drishes that showcase the creativity of the kitchen.

This places lived up to the hype and I really enjoyed my meal. To start we had the Caesar salad (7/10) and the Cheesesteak (7/10) as an appetizer. I'm not a huge fan of truffle or foie gras but it was good despite that. It basically melted in your mouth with every bite. For my main entree I got the Dover Sole (8/10) which was tasty. For our sides we got the Potato Gratin (7/10), Truffle Mac (7/10), and Broccolini (7/10). For dessert I had the Deep Dish Cookie (7/10) which was good. Half the cookie is oatmeal raisin and the other half is chocolate chip. I wasn't prepared for that but still good. My wife got the Key Lime Tart that was beautifully prepared but I didn't try it. All in all I enjoyed my food and the dimly lit ambiance added to the overall experience. Our service was good as well and the waiter was attentive (the upsell was definitely noticeable but that's something you come to expect at a place of this caliber). I would go back but don't feel the need to get that cheesesteak again. Kind of a 1 and done thing to me.

We visited Barclay for our wedding anniversary and wanted to give the A5 Japanese Waygu a try. The decor in the place is elegant and its a beautiful establishment. The staff was extremely professional kind and helpful. We got a few appetizers, main course and of course dessert. Everything we ordered was phenomenal no complaints whatsoever. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were very savory & delicious. If you want to go out for a great dining experience and amazing food this is the place to be. I highly recommend Barclay Prime in Philadelphia i promise you will not be disappointed. Bill was about $700 for the both of us with tip. Make sure to tip you waiter’s & waitresses because not only your paying for phenomenal food but also exceptional service aswell!

Lovely experience. I would come back again because the food was just so amazing! The Hamachi crudo was so good! I still dream of it. I would come back just to have it again. Scallops were succulent and juicy. The asparagus was so good, idk what they did to them but they're amazing. The Caesar salad was good for 2 people, great portions. It was a bit salty near the end tho. New York strip and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. No fatty pieces. Steak was perfectly juicy and tender. The knife is so sharp and cuts thru so nicely, great experience. Citrus cloud was very unique with the sorbet in middle.

A meal you don't mind paying $$$$ for! Great space, comfortable seating, impeccable service, great cocktails. Salad, crab cake tartar fabulous. 3 different kinds of steak at our table, all excellent. I had Chilean sea bass, I think it was the best I've ever had. 2 great desserts and hot coffee. Very $$$$ and worth it!

I was last at Barclay prime. I want to say 17 maybe 20 years ago and always wanted to come back well for my 50th birthday we went with the family and there was nothing short that I’m amazing. The food is just incredible. The service is great and yes, we tried the cheesesteak, and it lived up to its expectation, born and raised in the area. We figured why not try this cheesesteak we’ve had all the otherswill definitely be back. Can’t wait for my next visit and it’s not going to be another 17 years before we come back. Thanks for making my birthday memorable.

Stepping into Barclayprime was like entering into a place of mystery and sophistication. I loved the dark-themed ambiance, setting the stage for a wonderful, intimate dining experience.Savoring every moment…The airy bread (definitely the best bread ever)Starting off with the indulgence of the Royal Ossetra CaviarFollowed by a delicious Jumbo Lump CrabcakeAnd the iconic Barclay Prime CheesesteakThe Porterhouse Steak and the other steak (forgot which one) were the stars of the show especially with the presentation and the exceptional taste. It surpassed all expectations! We also got the Truffle Mac and Cheese and Whipped Potatoes on the sideWe ended off on a sweet symphony of flavors with the Citrus Cloud which is calamansi curd, mango serbet & fresh mandarin in a meringue shell and lime crème chantilly. There was also another dessert that was recommended by our waiter and it was perfectly accompanied by a velvety cappuccino.Impeccable service and phenomenal dishes!

WOW! I've been to a lot of restaurants in my life and Barclay Prime has to be top 3 all time! And that says a lot. From the service, to atmosphere, to food! Every tv big was spectacular. First off, the white marbled tables and lounge seating is so vibey! We tried an assortment of fresh seafood (lobster, crab, oysters, shrimp cocktail, and scallops). The east coast oysters were more tasty in my opinion. I also didn't know shrimp cocktail could taste that good. My favorite was the scallops! We also shared the ceaser salad and lobster bisque. The lobster bisque is a MUST for its taste and presentation! For our main, we shared the snow a5 wagyu, lemon caper fish, and lobster. The snow wagyu was the perfect amount of meatiness and marbling. If you're looking for more marbling, the kobe would be the choice, but I personally loved the snow. The broccolini was amazing, however the asparagus was underwelming. We got 2019 amarone wine was it was one of the best wines i've ever had! Overall, such a great experience and we will be back.
