Barrel's Fine Food located on Wolf Street has good food that is made with care. The staff members are very attentive towards their customers and have accurate wait time for them food to be ready for pickup. Keep up the good work 👍

The most BLAND Italian food I have ever had… the shrimp scampi smelled so weird and unappetizing, tasted the way it smelled.. weird, and odd aftertaste.. so I did not eat it. Mussels overcooked and sauce bland watery tomato paste. Try at your own risk.

Yall I just got a grilled chicken caesar and chicken tenders and my goodness 10/10!!!!! The tenders were so thin and the honey mustard delish. Chicken on salad was great. Cant wait to order again!

Not like I remember-I am from south philly and ate here my entire life!!! The food was horrible to be honest and I am upset, spent over $100 and tried to show an out of town friend good food! Sauce was brown with the seafood and horrible, linguine and clams dish smelled and tasted like fish! Will never order again!

sorry to say while we were eating a 2in roach was all over the floor shame we will probably don’t return to this place not to mention my wife and i saw how nasty the floor was looks like they haven’t clean the floors in a while shame this place was always clean and no roaches God knows what the kitchen looks like they should’ve charged us for the food they didn’t said anything or apologized

Salad was all iceberg with 1/2 inch tomato wedge and all vinegar, chkn parm was super thin and fried hard almost burnt, pasta was watery, flies everywhere, foot pounding and stomping upstairs, 4 different prices, web, plastic menu, paper menu, and when the check came, the server said prices change too fast to update menus, really?, the only thing good was the young server was very attentive. Will not visit again and do not recommend going

So my gf just moved to this area of s.philly,I'm from s. Jersey. Was looking for some south philly Italian takeout,i mean this is what philly is known for right? Ordered chicken Florentine meal 21.00 and change. Got home opened up what looked like a lean cruisine meal, 3 part plastic tray with 2 tiny portions of pasta with what tasted like canned red gravy,did I say chicken Florentine? Red gravy on pasta? Never had it like that. Chicken was 2 small pieces that was dry and a round roll that obviously wasn't fresh. Not to use names but any Italian restaurant in s.jersey that charges 21 - 24 dollars for a meal you'll have leftovers for 2 days and usually the pasta and chicken are combined in the garlic lemon sauce and everything marinates all together. Disappointed at the overpriced lack of quantity and just overall taste. Girl at the counter was nice ,good service but that's really about it.
