Bart's Bagels - West Philadelphia

Pretty solid bagel spot. They have some interesting options and some interesting actual bagels, including pumpernickel and egg. The turkey bacon on pumpernickel was pretty standard egg/cheese, but hit the spot. The smoked fish diablo I was never going to be a huge fan of but it was interesting. The bagels themselves were solid.

Best bagels in Philadelphia. It’s our first stop before heading to the shore, and I always pick them up for brunch events. Always fresh, chewy, and a crowd favorite.

Phishman and Uncle LEO hit harder than life itself. I will return.

I frequently stop at Bart's, and the bagels are great. The problem is the younger gentleman cashier sometimes gets preoccupied with other things and doesn't pay attention to the customers that are waiting. I ordered a coffee and while he was making the coffee, he decided to stop and do something else. He should try to focus on one thing at a time. Besides that one issue, the place has great 🥯.

Possibly the best toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with peanut butter I've had. Sweet, salty, crispy, soft. Friendly service, and can see a bit into the bakery. No indoor seating. Food for Passover can be ordered. (Apr 7 ’25)

Jun 4 ’25: There were four 2-seat outdoor tables. The everything bagel is tasty too - crispy and soft with a good volume. The Elixr coffee they serve is also quite good. I brought my own mug and they were willing to fill it with coffee for me. They asked if I wanted the coffee black, which was a good sign (instead of asking if I wanted cream and sugar). No restroom for customers.

Love this place, food is always fresh and the staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches and fast and friendly service. I got a chorizo egg sandwich on a bagel with some avocado and it was dope. Would highly recommend for early morning breakfast sandwich needs (on special occasions).

Crispy outside and soft inside - Barts Bagels is a staple for West Philly. I’ve been here several times and had it catered for a party, I always have a pleasant experience.

This time, I did find my sesame bagel to be a *bit* too crispy, as you can see from the large burnt area. It was hard to cut that side of the bagel. Inside was still soft though!

Will come back to try their raved about breakfast sandwiches.

Ordered through GrubHub, and I have a very specific order. I called to see if my choices were available, and not only were they available I was suggested a brand new bagel I've never had. Food was hot and delicious!

One of the few breakfast places in the area that provides an obnoxiously large egg sandwich on a bagel, just like I love it 😆

Seriously, these portions definitely reflect the price on these. I usually am not full from a standard egg sandwich from a deli, even "speciality" sandwiches with a lot of toppings. This place, if anything, makes an egg sandwich so tall, I'm surprised anyone other than me can fit it in their mouth.

This has been the most consistent bagel place I've come across in the area too, and thats including deliveries which are usually hit or miss for other places.

Vegetarian options: They don't have meat substitutions, but they have a few vegetarian option speciality sandwiches that have been great

FINALLY GOOD BAGELS IN WEST. I have long loved Four Worlds, but they're not a traditional bagel experience. Cleo - no comment. But now I have Bart's!!!! 😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️ Happy birthday to me!
