It seems if you are non Hispanic or non Spanish speaking, they don’t want your business. I was looking to host a small party but It’s sad that I had to travel all the way there after work just to be told the manager wasn’t in after speaking to someone on the phone that morning and they told me to come. The manager took three days to initially contact me and was vague with prices and details. Said she would contact me the next day to give better details but three days later I have yet to hear from her after reaching out multiple times. I hope after this review, you’ll treat potential non-Hispanic consumers with more diligence and professionalism.

The place is extremely beautiful, the attention of the waiters is one of the best experiences I have had in Pennsylvania, a young man named Aro served me, I highly recommend it, the food is extremely delicious and the drinks don't even mention it.
Nice atmosphere. For the most part, the service was good. Food was tasty and well presented, but prices were high for what you got. Then they forcibly put an 18% tip automatically on the bill whether you liked the service or not with only 4 of us. I will not be told what I will tip, That's my choice!

Want your dish made fresh? Visit BARU Restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia. You won’t be disappointed. My husband ordered Lobster Tail with Rice and Beans. I ordered the Fried Octopus with mixed veggies (squash) and Mash Potatoes. I ordered a Coconut Mojito which was soooo DELICIOUS!

Went there to celebrate the birthday a friend during Happy Hour time. Servers were very nice and attentive. 2 for 1 drink specials were great! I only ordered a chicken taco sppetizet which I did not like at all because it was dry and bland but the entrees ordered by others looked OK. The place was tastefully decorated and clean but as it got later in the evening, the music became deafeningly loud, making it almost impossible to hear and speak.
