Superb experience! Joni was our bartender/server. He made the best recommendations. Food and cocktails were perfection! Highly recommend the heirloom salad with their bread service and skate cheeks over polenta was a flavor boom! Will be back!
Food was very good and the drinks were also very good. The atmosphere is the best. One could choose to just do a liquid diet night at this establishment 😉
I gent for the brunch and they could have more options and improve their food. The French toast could be better. The matcha isn't as good, but their cappuccinos are.
Absolutely wonderful experiences while dining at Bastia, both for dinners with friends and large private events. Fantastic dishes, great drinks, lovely atmosphere, and attentive, friendly, and accommodating service. Simply cannot recommend enough.
The atmosphere, decor and service were great. One small service issue but not a big deal. The food was really where everything fell flat. Were ordered 6 dishes for two people and not one of them would we reorder. Don’t get me wrong, they were not all bad. Most or all were just “ok”. Well below what I would expect from a restaurant battling to be the best in Philly. The drinks were excellent. They were creative, well executed and delicious. It really boiled down to the food being underwhelming unfortunately. Hopefully others have a better experience.
Really loved the cocktails, also appreciated that they had definitions for us non-experts. We had a skate cheeks swordfish, and the special pasta dish, which were all very good. For dessert we had the olive oil cake, especially mixed with a berry was absolutely delicious. Service was very good. It does get a bit loud, very lively atmosphere.
Food was really good. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. We brought our 2 kids and they gave my daughter wax sticks to play with which was really nice.
We had the crudo, skate cheeks, swordfish and orata and everything was very tasty!
Had dinner with my family. The food and the cocktails were excellent. It is on expensive side but we thoroughly enjoyed, food, drinks, ambiance and the service. I highly recommend it.
Exceptional meal from start to finish. Ambiance and decor was outstanding and really sets the mood. Pesentation and service were fantastic and was pasta was some of the best I've had in Philly. Was slightly expensive, but worth it and I can't wait to go back.
My favorite restaurant in Philly. I went for the first time last night! So, I do need to visit again to legitimately say this is my favorite spot. But the experience was so lovely. Bartender was kind, professional, fun to talk to. She gave me a try of a couple wines and we found the perfect glass. Interesting wine and cocktail options, very very good. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was calm, beautiful, and totally comfortable. My previous favorite Philly spot was Suraya, so locals will understand that means this place is triple awesome! Sry Suraya I still love you! I can have multiple favorites so don't be sad!!

Had my birthday dinner here and it was incredible. Menu was amazing + cocktails were delicious. Anthony, our server, was super knowledgeable about the menu and about what wine to pair with the dishes we had. Atmosphere was 10/10 and overall it was a great experience, I look forward to coming here again and am grateful it’s right in the neighborhood.
All was great except bartender didn’t know how to make a basic mojito, however, in all fairness they took it off the bill. Brunch menu was limited. Swordfish was fantastic.
Food and Service was excellent!
10 across the board, great food, great service and the hotel is beautiful!
Emphasis on the food being great!!
Sweet menu, nice wine list, great service. What's not to like.
