I had my 21st birthday party at the Bayou and every single person had an amazing time! The staff is so friendly and was so communicative, really making me feel special and ensuring that the experience was great. The pricing was very affordable and If you are considering doing an event here I would 1000% recommend it! Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves so much we want to do another event there soon :).

A good ol Manayunk staple. Stopped in for "happy hour" on a Thursday. To cut straight to it: happy hour only consists of appetizers, not drinks. So keep that in mind (unless the guy was just lying to be lying). Walked in, the bar completely empty and dark like it was closed. Can't lie I wasn't feeling the vibes man. I ordered a Tokyo Tea and my lady had the Blue Horizon. That Tokyo Tea was well poured and that Blue Horizon was wateryyyyyy. Either way, I won't be back unless I want some fried food for half off.

I came here on a Tuesday for 25cent wings. Wings was okay, probably better on a different day. Wings came out hot and fast. Service was great. Always hard to find parking in that area.

The WORST service I have ever received. Only 2 teenage looking girls there running the place. My boyfriend and I were the only 2 in the entire place and it still took over 5 mins for our drinks, the girl never checked on us after our apps came. She actually left at one point for a while, just walked out the front door and went somewhere else. We only got to order appetizers because she never came back to ask if we wanted to put food in so we ended up leaving to get entrees elsewhere.

The chicken club wrap was average at best. The chicken was grilled but was dry and flavorless. The ranch dressing that comes in it is only on the lettuce and tomato which is on one side of the wrap and the chicken is on the other. So......unless you have a really huge mouthspan you won't get all the ingredients in 1 bite. The bayou fries were pretty tasty.....only need to get them once to say you've had them. Maybe they would be better after a few drinks. My friend did say his bacon burger was awesome and hit the spot, but he could tell that the pattie was frozen and not fresh. Or it at least didn't taste like a handmade pattie.

Where to start… I hate being excited to try a new place and being extremely let down.Went here for “Happy Hour” and it was nothing happy about it.The heat was NOT on. We had to keep our coats on the whole time.ONE server for the entire establishment. She was also the bartender.Other workers were just running in and out the kitchen but no one came back to our table to offer water even. After 10 mins I had to get up and go to the bar to get the attention of the server. There was a couple that was already seating we were arrived and no one had been to their table either. They ended up walking out.We ordered a so called Tokyo tea that literally just tased like iced tea - not a once of liquor. For $15 we expected some more. We sent those back and just got a beer and ginger ale (that tasted watered down). The food took forever to come out (over 30 mins) and nothing came out together. Two cheap paper plates were put down in front of us (like pizza slice plates smh). We received the cold fries first. Then after another 10 mins some wings - one of which was just old bay on top of hot sauce. After another 10 mins we received potstickers that were clearly frozen. One was still frozen on the middle - sent that back. The onion rings came out last (after another 10 mins) super dark and border line burnt. One item we ordered never came out.The bill comes and it still have the 2 drinks on there that we sent back ($30) smhThe bill was corrected. The food did not sit well in my stomach and I was in the bathroom all morning the next day.Maybe it was an off night, but we won’t be back.

So the website says they have a happy hour but just was inside 2/17/24 and the bartender seemed confused as to whether or not there was a happy hour. Sign says $5 Sam Adam’s and the bartender said that was the happy hour. Left. Probably not a place I would ever

Called about taking my nephew in for wing night but was told he couldn't go unless parent was present as I'm 30 that was pretty laughable. Not the first time place gave off weird vibes and the guy that's normally behind the bar with the glasses is usually a dick.

This place used to be great. Had great food with a fantastic atmosphere. It now has a menu that originates from a freezer. None of the great food items are available. The place looks like it has not been cleaned. The service is nonexistent. I actually saw a female bartender directly pouring full bottles of liquor into staff members' mouths. Which I'm sure is a health violation! Best advice: Don't even give them a chance. Too many other options.
