The turtle soup is by far the best soup I’ve ever had, and the hot sauce is perfection in a bottle
The blackened chicken alfredo was bland and wasn’t much chicken at all.

The staff need to take a course in Food and Safety. To see them have long hair out which could easily get in the food. Long nails and no gloves on. The food wasn't anything to rave about and nothing close to New Orleans cuisine. They need to ask if you're taking out or want to eat in. W didn't realize they had seats and explained that we bought food but will be willinging to tip to seat of course the women with the dusty headband and long hair was dismissive and rude.

We ordered gator gumbo and some pasta w fried Mac and cheese balls. Food was very filling and tasted great. Only critique is Mac n cheese in the balls needed more seasoning but they were creamy and crunchy perfect texture. Service was fast as well. Atmosphere was off because two of the workers in the back kept staring at me and my wife pointing at their phone then us even after I waved at them so we went ahead and left.

The food tasted great but the shrimp and crawfish etoufee had no shrimp and the smallest crawfish pieces. When we questioned the server she immediately poured a bowl with shrimp gravy on top. Our barstool neighbor was like so that must standard procedure.

been here for years and finally tried this place, it was dissapointing. the fried shrimp had no seasoning at all, in fact i couldnt even taste the shrimp. the hush puppies were ok, at least they tasted like something but they wer too expensive. no reason for that just because theres a fee bits of flavorless shrimp minced into them. would not recommend, no taste too $$$.
i looked at someones pasta dish and that pasta looked like it was boiled for 20 minutes it was so floppy. just b7y some cajun seasoning or hotsauce from anywhere and sprinkle it on fast food ajd it would taste better for less

Such a great experience to be able to have a taste of new orleans in philadelphia. The service was excellent. I had a half and half tea/ lemonade with the bourbon street breakfast. I also took some beniegts to go. I cant wait to go back and try something else.

The food was nothing special. Bland. I got the Mac and cheese but it advertised four I only got 3. I also got the hush puppies which should have been shrimp and jalapeno they They taste like plain hush puppies a low burnt no hints of jalapeno no hints of shrimp I literally want deep diving into this hush puppy you see a little bit of green I'm assuming of the jalapeno but I find no remnants of a shrimp in any of the hush puppies that I got. This was a part of my birthday experience needless to say it was horrible and I would never go back again.

Had a bit of an issue, placing the order for red beans and rice not realizing that it contained pork (it normally does, and my fault for not realizing). Person making the order looked really happy to give it to me, but I told him I couldn't eat it and had to order something else instead. Bro looked like he was going to kill me, but he let me change my order into something without pork and didn't charge for it. Plus he sent me off with a very kind message telling me to enjoy my stay despite the confusion. 10 out of 10 service recovery.
P.s: The food was great!

I tried the alligator gumbo. Tastes like chicken. It was tasty and filling. Not a lot of places to sit when busy

I'm specifically rating this dish. The $18 shrimp basket. Can you pick out the shrimp? Can you even see shrimp? Yup, it's all there. Judge for yourself

Love the coffee and an order of heignets goes great with the chicory flavor
The alligator gumbo is as close as you're gonna get without being in the swamp. Highly recommend grabbing some cornbread to dip into it as well.
Service was fantastic, especially right at opening. Debra was a dream.
