Some of the best baked goods in Fishtown. You can get anything from their counter and I can almost guarantee it will be awesome. Their sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches were amazing along with their ham and cheese croissants. The oat bars, Tandy cakes, cookies, and donuts are all fantastic as well. Super friendly staff plus they have classes and events.
One of the ONLY bakeries in the entire Philly area to allow you to truly customize a cake. I'm not originally from the area, but I was so surprised to find that no bakery (7+) would not allow for chocolate chips to be added into the cake batter or in-between the iced layers of a cake. Super bizarre, especially since this isn't difficult to do when baking AND what bakery does not have chocolate chips already on hand?! Beehive was everything we could've hoped for. The customer service is timely and so friendly, but most importantly the cake purchased was PERFECT. The chocolate cake was super moist and chocolatey, the vanilla buttercream wasn't overly rich, and the mini chocolate chips throughout the iced layers, was the perfect extra crunch and decadence we were hoping for!
Second time coming here, and won’t be the last. Pictured is a croissant roll, which was phenomenal, as is every pastry we have had here. Cozy and modern atmosphere that was very inviting.Katie is the best barista!
Really good coffee. Really delicious baked doughnut and little cupcake for my daughter(who devoured it until her face was green from the icing and she was singing “fly eagles fly”). Everything I didn’t buy looked fantastic as well. Service was friendly and efficient. I didn’t really feel like I was waiting long at all, even for multiple espresso drinks and other customers behind and ahead of me. Will go back, and hopefully they will have that French apple cake I didn’t get this time.
If you don’t go to Beehive Bake Shop when you come to philly, can you actually say you’ve been to philly? I know what you’re thinking “man I’ll get a cheesesteak and watch the Sixers, Phillies or Eagles and be fine” WRONG. They make some of the best handcrafted goodies here and the ambience is warm and welcoming ! Def can’t wait to come again. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE
cute place, very friendly and helpful staff, great coffee, DELICIOUS treats.Croissant rolls are a must try.
Really cute and friendly bake shop and coffee shop. Me and my partner love coming here since it's such a convenient location close to the park and bus stop and near us. I hope they will consider ceasing to punish vegans and those with dairy intolerance for ordering non-dairy beverages. Dairy is the harmful and less environmentally friendly option so it doesn't make sense why they charge more for nondairy.

Quaint little bakery doing it right in Fishtown. Service was warm and friendly. Decor was warm and charming. Honey Lavender donut was probably the most tender donut I've ever had. Really nice. The honey pie is reminiscent of the numerous bean pies I had growing up. If you love custard pies, this is a solid choice.
The cookies are amazing. Fresh, soft, decadent, but not too sweet. They also serve La Colombe espresso, and know how to make a tasty cortado with it. I haven't tried the cupcakes, but those look great as well. Highly recommend this place.

Great little spot. Fresh and tasty bakery treats. Carrot cake and blueberry scones are killer. Definitely go to this place!
I haven't tried their coffee, but their baked goods were nice, and the staff was friendly. Worth checking out.
Elisabeth made 4 dozen cupcakes for our son first birthday, they were amazing! She was easy to communicate with, made sure to clarify any allergies and was clear about pricing from the beginning. The cupcakes were delicious, our guests were raving. I recommend Beehive to all my friends and family! Thank you guys so much!
I struggled a lot to find a bakeshop in Fishtown that offered calory-worthy sweets. I’m so glad I got to know Beehive and I’m grateful to my dog who makes me walk him all around the neighborhood. There are a few seats and tables, but it’s not a huge cafe. They offer La Colombe’s coffee, and this combination makes me the happiest. And yoohoo, you’re dog is welcome there!
The coffee is delicious! I get a oat milk cappuccino with an extra shot and it’s amazing every time. The pastries are soooo good! I got a cannoli cupcake for my husband (I don’t typically like cannolis) and I wanted to eat the entire thing. The honey sea salt pie and the lemon lavender donut are also incredible.
