Delicious food and excellent service
They’re offering an all you can eat dim sum special from 11 AM-4 PM for just $16.99 per person, plus $2 for tea. The food is a solid 3.5 out of 5, but the value is unbeatable, five stars for price alone. All you can eat dim sum is a rare find in the city and definitely worth checking out. The taro bun was my favorite.
I came here with my family for the AYCE dim sum, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in many ways.
While some of the food was passable, several items tasted either old or poorly cooked, to the point where they seemed spoiled or off. That seriously impacted our enjoyment and raised concerns about food safety and freshness.
The service was even more disappointing. Though the staff were quick to clear empty plates, they were consistently rude and overbearing. They hovered over our table the entire time, making us feel watched and unwelcome. Every time a family member got up to get food, they were warned not to take too much—even if they hadn’t grabbed anything yet. I was personally scolded for nearly a full minute while standing at the buffet with an empty plate. I never though I'd be micromanaged as a paying customer...
It’s disappointing to be treated this way when dining out, especially in a place that advertises itself as AYCE. The constant reminders and rude tone made the experience more stressful than enjoyable. Between the questionable food quality, poor service, and unwelcoming atmosphere, I won’t be returning nor would I recommend this place to others.
Beijing Duck Seafood Restaurant serves up some seriously good Chinese cuisine! The dim sum is a must-try, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy.
BEWARE, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $2 PER PERSON FOR WATER OR TEA WITHOUT TELLING YOU! ALSO FEE FOR USING A CREDIT CARD. THE SERVERS GIVE YOU A DIRTY LOOK IF YOU DONT FINISH EVERYTHING
Do not go here!
The restaurant will scam you by charging you $2 a person for water. No where is the menu does it say they will charge you for water. There is a sign on the table stated a $2/person charge will apply for tea. When I told the cashier we did not get tea, he said water or tea we charge you this fee. He would not budge and forced us to pay the tea fee.
The service and food is not worth it at all. Most food you can tell it was frozen food from the grocery store and the food was not hot. It’s messy and people drop the tongs but it’s out right back for the next person to use to grab food.
If you’re interested in visiting this spot for their AYCE dim sum special, definitely read up on this review including the others posted recently!
Some dishes are served hot (as they should), but there were plenty of items on the steam cart and in the warming racks that were almost ice cold. A lot of the dishes, such as the chicken feet and Crystal shrimp dumplings, my group and I felt as if they were under seasoned compared to other dim sum spots in the area. The items we found to be good, were just alright, and nothing really stood out.
Coming to a Chinatown spot like this, we never expect great service or anything along that line since that’s just generally what you expect from a more authentic Chinese spot. But, staff were fairly rude, scolding us and other customers if we seemingly were getting “ too much” food for the table. Servers stood and hovered above our table to collect empty dim sum baskets, making us fairly uncomfy.
What we did like, was that there were a lot of variety of items and every staple Dim sum dish was present. The variety of dessert was also yummy.
The buffet food was under expectation, some weren’t even hot. No fresh vegetable plates. Their service was bad, asked for refills but you have to wait. If the tip was under their expectation they are going to tell you to raise it.
the best dim sum in Chinatown. the all you can eat dimsum is an incredible value and quality. The dimsum is so fresh and varried. I definitely will be back. My favorite are the sugar-coated pork buns that melt in your mouth, some of the most authentic hong Kong style dimsum I've tried in Philadelphia
I had the all you can eat dim sum for lunch. The dim sum was great quality and exceptional value. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was so good that we went there twice in a week!

It was my first time coming to this place. It was to spend Father’s Day brunch together with my family. They had a dim sum buffet thing going on. The food did not taste fresh at all. The picture above showed undercooked meatballs. My grandma and mom had an upset stomach/diarrhea within 30 mins of leaving the place. The servers were not attentive and we had to ask multiple times on the tea refill and one server took our tea pot to refill it but took so long to come back with it that we had to ask where it went. When going to get food ourselves at their buffet station, the workers told us not to get too much. But if it is a buffet, as long as they have a sign up to not be wasteful with food or else they will be charged extra, it should be fine, and they did have the sign up. I was helping grab food for my table of 6 people so the elderly did not need to go grab it themselves but was stopped from grabbing more than 3 dishes each time. The tablecloth when we first sat down wasn’t even clean. It looked like it fell on the ground before and they just put it on the table. The food was below average, some items like the buns look supermarket bought and then heated up for the customers. They also lacked selection of dim sum for the buffet. They only account for 50 mins of the buffet but there were even limited quantities of food served during the time. I feel there wasn’t enough manpower in the kitchen on Father’s Day. I would not come back here again nor do I recommend this place. This place does not know how to run a business. They do have nice interior but the tables/tablecloths/chairs do not match the interior design. If you wanted to bring your family to dim sum, I would not recommend this place. Please save them an upset stomachache/diarrhea.
Pricy, but really authentic Chinese food!
Servers were great. Owner/front register has an attitude
This bean curd roll one of the best I ever had. Highly recommended
Please avoid this place. They claim the dim sum is made to order, but that’s not true. The first dish came out very quickly, and all three of us felt it wasn’t fresh—though we weren’t sure at the time if there was something wrong. After finishing all the dishes, my husband immediately had stomach pain and had to rush to the bathroom, where he vomited badly. About 30 minutes later, another person in our group also had to urgently find bathroom. Also get food poisoning.
Although this place is more expensive than other dim sum restaurants but the food quality is very low. Please do not go!
