We enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner here. Cozy, Philly atmosphere. Great food and drink, our server, Ury, was professional but social and fun! We’ll be back.

Robert is the man. Was very attentive and personable and honestly made the experience for us. The food was so good and fresh. And not for nothing, but me and my boyfriend both agreed this was the best espresso martini we’ve ever had (with and without the hazelnut, can’t go wrong). I highly recommend the caesar, ravioli, and chicken parm, all were amazing. This is a hidden gem and will definitely be back, shoutout Robert (and all of the other wait staff) again for making the experience even more enjoyable! Check this place out if you want a good italian meal with great customer service.

I did not realize it was Restaurant Week, which means limited prefix menu and generally rushed service. This was my second visit to Bellini. First time, the service was great but my entree (lasagne) was cold in the center. This time the food was warmish and the service was not great. As expected during Restaurant Week, we were rushed despite there being multiple empty tables surrounding us. I am not sure I will return after this experience.

Our server Robert was incredible. He was witty and his banter with the table continued throughout the night. The food itself was good, however, a few of the entrees left some to be desired. It was restaurant week and I am sure they were putting out tons of the same food so I don't completely hold that against them. For the price I think it was worth it. The ambiance is great for a date night or a night out with friends. Deserts were great.

My wife and I took our family there for Valentine's day dinner since I wouldn't see my oldest daughter for Valentine's day. (She's a university student in the area)
We had a reservation, arrived early, and were accommodated immediately with great hospitality.
The service was awesome. The atmosphere was excellent. And the food was a hit.
Homemade restaurant's own balsamic vinegar was so good. Salads perfect, Appetizer was incredible and I hate pesto and devoured it. Veal was cooked to perfection. And the deserts were out of this world...
I can't wait to go back... Molte grazie...

I can’t believe it took me years to finally try this place!! One of the best Italian dinners I’ve had in Philly, which really is saying something, considering it’s my favorite cuisine.
Came in with zero expectations cause it was a last minute reservation catching the very last table available, and I was craving pasta. stumbled in on a busy Friday night but was attended to frequently by our waiter and busboys constantly refilling our water(my pet peeve if delayed), bread basket, and promptly taking dishes. Loved our waiter too, I totally forgot his name but he was very quirky and fun. I loved the decor of the interior too, felt like I was in a rustic restaurant in Italy.
Unfortunately we came in during restaurant week so had very limited options, but everything we had was superb down to the homemade olive oil and balsamic vinegar we dipped our bread in and drizzled over the bruschetta. The rigatoni dish was spectacular(I think it’s normally fusilli on the full menu), the BEST fresh pasta I’ve had in the city perfectly cooked and perfect texture, but also enough of the addicting sauce with it(also a pet peeve if it’s too dry). The only complaint I have is I wish it was 3x larger as if I were at Cheesecake Factory lol ;). Also took bites of the risotto gambretti and gnocchi sorrento(both excellent). I usually highly dislike gnocchi, but this was the only time I’ve EVER liked gnocchi and it’s because it was super light, pillowy, and flavorful, not the gummy, doughy, raw potato and flour tasting kind I’m used to. Others liked their veal and chicken dishes as well! I’m very rarely impressed these days and so glad we were able to come in. Can’t wait to come back and try the dishes I was interested in on the full menu!

Excellent Italian in a crowded field for restaurant week. Pasta perfect and 3 courses with dessert extra. Light lemon cello cake.

Very accommodating with gluten free options. The place is a little tight, but not too loud to talk. Tons of great dishes to choose from, and you can’t go wrong with any of them.

Food was cold. Everything we ordered was - and it was a Friday night. Should have been fresh. Wouldn't come back

A Perfect Choice for a Pre-Theater or Concert Dinner Bellini is always a delight, especially before an evening at the Academy of Music or the Kimmel Center. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with genuine, caring hospitality. The staff is attentive, professional, and clearly well-trained, making you feel thoroughly looked after without ever being rushed. The food is outstanding. The Caesar salad arrived cold and crisp, with a beautifully balanced, flavorful dressing. The Bellini chicken was fork-tender and deeply satisfying. The homemade ravioli, filled with creamy ricotta, was perfectly paired with a rich and flavorful red gravy. The tender pork in apricot sauce, served alongside fingerling potatoes, struck a wonderful balance of sweet and savory. And dessert did not disappoint—the tiramisu was absolutely irresistible. Bellini is truly a restaurant gem, and I recommend it without hesitation. Be well and happy, Diane H

To start, the service was off putting and highly unprofessional. Our server, Robert, made repeated sarcastic and unnecessary remarks toward our party of nine that was predominately women who were there to celebrate a birthday. As a group of women, we felt uncomfortable and disrespected by his behavior.

In the beginning, Robert commented on my facial expression, saying I looked “serious” and that I should smile. Many at the table agreed this was inappropriate and off putting, especially coming from a stranger. Later, when I mentioned that our drinks had been forgotten, he referred to me as my friend’s “defender,” which felt dismissive and unnecessary.

When I didn’t realize it was my turn to order and apologized instead of simply asking what I would like he responded with “no, just do better,” or something along those lines. He also made comments about us not finishing our food and questioned why I was asking for a to go bag for my friend by saying, “Can she not ask for herself?”

Toward the end of the night, Robert pointed out that one of my friends had something on her face, which we appreciated. However, he then followed it by muttering “you’re a hot mess,” an entirely unnecessary comment especially on her birthday.

It is also worth noting that our group was predominantly young women of color (19-21). Whether intentional or not, the tone of his service felt dismissive and condescending at times, which raised concerns about whether our age or background may have influenced how we were treated.

When the one guy in our party addressed the situation and Robert returned to our table to apologize. Unfortunately, the apology was poorly handled. Instead of taking responsibility, he repeatedly justified his behavior by saying things like “this is how WE are” and “I’m just blunt,” which only continued the same pattern that made us uncomfortable.

These are just a few of the comment that were made, but they were frequent enough to affect the overall experience. To be fair, the food was good and the service itself was quick. However, the repeated comments and lack of professionalism overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable birthday dinner. No group regardless of age should feel talked down to or uncomfortable simply for dining out.

We came to Bellini before attending a show. The ambiance and service was great. Food was delicious. Our server started off a little interesting but by the end of our experience, we had a mutual respect for his pizzazz.
