Care and pride resonated throughout, with a meticulous attention to detail. Speaking of resonated, the food. THE FOOD! The most tender brisket, juicy chicken, herbed and roasted root veg; all served family-style to each table simultaneously so absolutely no one waited. - were delicious. Servers even came around and asked if we wanted seconds. It felt like we were eating at a friend’s place who also happens to be a world class chef. On a personal note, for someone who doesn’t drink: the non-alcoholic cocktails were stellar; the fact that Birchtree focused on ensuring all guests, inclusive of those with dietary or drink restriction, was comfortable and cared for, far surpasses so many other events.Both the bride and groom confirmed similar sediments regarding Birchtree’s expertise with regards to planning, execution, and all-around professionalism, highlighting their primary contact Spencer went above and beyond to make certain their day was nothing short of perfect. Second of all, the food was SO GOOD! So many of our guests told us that they really loved the food and the catering staff. The staff was so friendly and created an awesome vibe! At one point, I looked over while the photographer was trying to take a photo of our dog, and one of the servers was dancing so our dog would look at the camera! :) We had to move our event inside due to weather, and it was a seamless process, thanks to Birchtree. After three years and 3 postponements because of Covid, we finally had our international family reunion brunch for 60 relatives at the Hill-Physick House. Birchtree catered the event, and was a delight to work with. The food was delicious! Each item on the menu was creatively prepared. Rather than a plated meal or a buffet, they suggested family style, with each menu item plentifully served in inviting dishes. It was lovely to pass the food around the 72' round tables, as one would do with those you love most. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. They really helped to create the background for an incredible memory for all! Spencer, Allegra and Kelliann have all been amazing throughout these 3 years. Working with Birchtree was an absolute delight! From the initial inquiry email all the way through to the wedding day, every interaction was professional, friendly, and helpful. Spencer was our point of contact and I honestly do not know how I would've made it through this experience without him. In addition to guiding through the catering process, he also served as a day-of coordinator and helped with setup, linens/tables, run of show, etc etc. We had last-minute cancellations and table changes due to COVID, and Spencer ensured that everything was taken care of and not stressful for us.All of our guests raved about how delicious the food at our wedding was! No other possible choice for wedding catering in Philadelphia! Mouth-watering food, incredible organization, and record-setting response times – we couldn’t have asked for more from our catering team. Spencer, Allegra, and the entire Birchtree team were the reason that our wedding was a smash hit! We had a difficult time with our wedding arrangements from the start (our first venue dropped our contract, and Birchtree helped us to find a second venue within two weeks – then the whole pandemic reschedule nightmare of 2020…). The only reason we felt comfortable that things would work out when they got difficult was the optimistic, above-and-beyond support that we received from this team. As we also had a pandemic baby before our wedding reception, we truly couldn’t have done it without Spencer, who was able to help us plan all of the little details that we didn’t have the brain power to think about in the new-baby haze.
