Stopped in here on a Friday early evening for dinner. You order at the counter and then they call you when your order is ready. I thought the prices were very good for the portions you got. I enjoyed a hummus bowl that had veggies in it and falafel. I got a meal so i picked a salad and a bottle of water to go with it. There was so much food! My boyfriend liked his dinner as well! The restaurant looked fairly new. Nicely decorated and clean. I will be back for another hummus bowl!

No place in center city compares to this when it comes to middle eastern food. I got a falafel hummus bowl and it was fabulous.

This is my favorite casual but healthy option. The chicken shawarma in saj with pickled everything, side of amba, and za’atar saj always do the trick. The lemonana is so refreshingly and not too sweet, but perfectly balanced. The staff are super friendly and quick. I will definitely be back.

Stopped in here twice for recent lunches. On-street parking was easily found right up front. The staff was much livelier on my second visit. First time it didn't seem like anyone wanted to be bothered. Second time, I had smiles and at least a thank you! The inside was not crowded, but there were people coming in for take out and a few other diners besides myself. The table situation is spread out pretty good and there is Arabic music playing softly in the dining area. I'd call ahead if you're in a rush. The wait was about ten minutes on both trips. I went with Shawarma both times, the first was chicken second was a mix of lamb and beef. It is a big portion so I went sans fries on the second trip. The Saj bread was huge, but thin and fresh and it kept the wraps together extremely well. The meat was finely cut up and lightly seasoned. Both wraps included cucumber, tomato, tahini/garlic sauce and a side of shatta hot sauce (think red chili sauce). I thought both wraps were good, but a tad too heavy on the tahini sauce. Nothing bad, nothing great. Might have to go Kabab over rice and have some hummus on a future visit and report back. Prices were decent overall.

Can't be better!! I recommend the felafel over french fries, with garlic sauce. So tasty! Comes with a bit of salad and hummus. And guilt free for takeout- they use paper containers. This is one of the best places in all of Philly and super affordable, yes as inexpensive as a halal truck. Way to go Bishos! Next door see their beautiful shop also to pick up some za'atar or fancy spices

I usually order ahead with the app because it's faster, but their hummus and falafel is incredible. I saw their mint lemonana listed in the Philly Magazine as a must get for a hot day and I'd had it on my list to try. The mint lemonana lived up to it's hype and the hummus bowl with falafel and shawarma I got was incredible. I've been back twice since and I recommend the green spice mix and pickles for toppings and the fries with the red spice are also really good. And they're connected to Le Souk Market right next door that has all the Mediterranean spices you can think of as well as all kinds of teas and sweets and soaps you can use for gifts (for yourself or others).Parking: Parking is tough - there's some street parking nearby but it's on a pretty busy street. I usually park on one of the side streets nearby and walk over.

Extraordinarily delicious food, reasonably priced. Tender meats, best fries I ever had. Next door to a Middle Eastern market with wonderful findings. Parking in front of the store.Vegetarian options: Best hummus I ever had, perfect falafel. Vegetable salads, pickles, best puffy flatbreads. Fresh drinks, teas and coffees.Parking: Parking on both sides of the street. Very easy to get a spot.Kid-friendliness: Family styled seating area.

Stopped in and grabbed beef/lamb shawarma and kifta kabab for take out. Restaurant and bathroom was clean. Staff friendliness was average and food was disappointing compared to reading other reviews. Kabab and shawarma was tasty and had good portions. However, when I opened it at home, meat was all burnt scraps! I either received a bad batch or always come this burnt? I would give it another try to be fair but this round was thumbs down.

Ok: falafel, lamb shawarma, limonadaFalafel wasn't very flavorfulI found the shawarma pretty dry but I enjoyed the chopped veggies insideLimonada was very minty and was interesting to try but wasn't exciting.Wished there were more options for sauce than just tahini.
