A very good Italian restaurant, top notch food at reasonable prices (in an area of town with lots of expensive restaurants), and good variety on the menu. Service was attentive and friendly.

Dinner was very nice in this small, unhurried eatery. Service was excellent and unrushed. My fettuccine with short rib ragu was very good. The chocolate mousse was just okay. I recommend Bistro La Baia if you want to enjoy good food in a true bistro setting. Don't forget to bring some wine with you!

A very nice neighborhood find!! Delicious food- Italian and a BYOB. Benches could have cushions- very hard on your bottom for older folks. Server had the whole restaurant to do which is small but 2 would have been better. Pretty pleased with the whole experience.

We had a great experience at La Baia while visiting. We sat outside on a beautiful night, had attentive and great service (even while they were getting a party of 40 settled inside), and amazing food. Handmade pasta with fresh pork ragu and handmade creamy gnocchi with shrimp. We would definitely return. Only regret was not saving room for dessert!

My friend and I sat outside as it was a warm evening and less noisy there than inside. The service was excellent - attentive and warm without being obtrusive. Food was amazing. I had the tagliatelle with ragu followed by an incredible panna cotta with raspberries and pistachios. My companion ordered the chicken marsala and tartufo for dessert. She said they were outstanding. I love this great neighborhood BYOB and will make a reservation next time I'm back in Philly.
