It was a great dining experience. My wife and I enjoyed our entrees. We are looking forward to a return visit. The atmosphere and the service was wonderful.
Beautiful atmosphere, food was interesting and very good. Wine selection by the bottle was great, not so good by the glass. To be a French restaurant, they should offer champagne by the glass. It was a really enjoyable evening and will definitely frequent this establishment.
I'm from France and my husband and I have traveled to France for more than 20 times in last 20 years. We have tasted many French dishes from different regions there. We can tell you that the food here is not authentic French food. The onion soup was too sweet, too salty and oily. The mussels dish was cooked with way too much cream. The cassoulet's duck was so gamey. The octopus dish came with only 3 small two-inches pieces with some bland sauce in a large plate. The fries were too greasy and not crunchy as they were cooked few hours ago. The only OK dish was the salmon. This is the worst "French style" restaurant we've been to. Although we were hungry, we only ate the salmon, left other dishes, and went to another restaurant!
The service and the food prep are by student, specializing, and studying in restaurants. The service is brilliant. The crew is absolutely charming and working very hard to build their own business expertise. The food is just tasty and it's very difficult to decide which thing to order. I would highly encourage you to stop off and try it. There's just one trick it's a little hard to find because it's set back inside some regular doors to the building. You have to walk straight down the hall to get to the restaurant. Don't miss it.
I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro Perrier recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the charm of the place was apparent—warm, inviting, and with just the right amount of sophistication. The atmosphere created the perfect setting for a relaxing and special evening. The food was absolutely outstanding. The cabbage-wrapped pork with carrots was full of flavor, and beautifully presented. It's clear the chefs here know what they're doing. I could go on and on, but if I had to pick a favorite, the passionfruit bomb was a standout for sure. What really made the evening exceptional was the service. The staff was not only attentive but also genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure we had everything we needed. It felt like they truly cared about making the experience perfect. I can't wait to eat there again. I highly recommend Bistro Perrier.
Always a fun experience seeing future chefs and restauranteurs learning their craft. We try and visit at least once each year--and always marvel at how wonderful an experience it is. Everyone should be dining here from time to time.
I was at Walnut Hill College for an awards ceremony and the atmosphere, service and food was superb!!

This precious student run dining features specials developed solely by them as well as other favorites. Keep this in mind as aside from your host (also their professor) 100% of the staff are students. Think of it like Culinary Institute but in University City
I started with a glass of wine and a salad based on arugula with a spring pea purée. I followed that with a lamb dish that had probably the best roasted carrot I ever tasted, perfectly cooked lamb and a parsnip purée that had deep umami. I splurged on a side of the mushroom fricassee which had a great variety of mushrooms in a light cream sauce. I wish I had room for the in house desserts but I may have accidentally eaten one of the baked breads with sea salt encrusted butter which filled me up!
A few things - the students are also servers so they are learning different parts (front bs back of the house). So I had to ask for a wine list and a little more detail than she was able to provide in some entrees. Also the plating is a place they could improve so keep that in mind - the food tastes great even if it’s not decked out in microgreens etc.
The atmosphere in the back is like a French bistro and the bar area is a throwback charmer. Perfect for friends or a date night. Any tips go back to the program enjoy!

A very enjoyable evening in a quiet place, with food prepared and served by nice food service students. We'll definitely got back again!
I had the opportunity to eat at the Bistro Perrier on a few occasions. Booking a reservation online is quick and easy. Upon arriving I was greeted by a host who took us to our seats. I have been able to sit in different parts of the bistro to enjoy different scenery.
We ordered Raclette Potatoes, Mussels (which has been a favorite), Pan Roasted Salmon and Steak Frites. We also had a variety of desserts.
The students are really able to showcase their skills whether greeting, managing tables, taking orders and the students making the food.

What a great experience! The fixed price wine dinner was a real treat, from start to finish!
Our favorite place. Best kept secret. Never disappoints. The lamb was amazing. The presentation like on Master Chef!
