Awesome French bistro! We went for happy hour and sat on the patio and had a lovely experience. The deals for happy hour were great and everything we got was very yummy!

This place would have a perfect five star rating on here if it wasn't for the ignorant "foodies" that apparently are unaware that foie gras is still ubiquitous in French restaurants

Their millefeuille is one of the best desserts I've had in the city.

I was planning on eating here with a friend, but realized that they sell foie gras, a dish made from the diseased livers of overfed ducks. I wish the restaurant would stop this cruel custom, then maybe I could eat here.

Please stop serving foie gras. Of all the things we are able to eat, this is among the most sad, cruel dishes in existence. The measure of a society is how we treat those at our mercy. This level of suffering is not worth any meal. It's a bad look for this restaurant, the owners, and our city seeing how this is banned in so many places.

This is an awful restaurant with even worse staff and owners. I hope it shuts down.

Very rude service, visibly not the cleanest restaurant either. Low quality ingredients, plated to look nice. Dishes are under seasoned and lacking flavor. A major managerial flaw (coming from someone who’s been in the industry for years) was allowing their staff to hang a petty sign in their window mocking the peaceful protestors seen out front. It would have been nice to see a “fine dining” establishment respond with the same class they try to exude as a business. Simply put, they are a bad look for the neighborhood. If you were considering dining here for the foie gras, or for any other reason, I would recommend Parc or Bar Lesieur instead.

The food and service were great, and for that reason my wife and I would go back. Prices were a little high in my opinion, but worth it for special events. I also appreciated the little details: it was my birthday, and instead of the traditional cake they put a candle on a plate with the phrase “happy birthday “ beautifully written on it with chocolate.

La minette has always been one of my favorite restaurants for comfort food. Saturday night was a disappointment. I adore foie gras, but that night it was seared too much. The beef tartar was very good, but the very crisp bread overwhelmed it. I finally ate the tartar with regular bread because it didn't overwhelm it as the Uber crisp bread did. The mille feuille- another one of my favorites- tasted like it had sat in the fridge too long: the cream was slightly off- not sour but with a fridge taste. My 2 friends agreed Bistrot la Minette was not up to our fond recollections.

When I was already on my way driving home, the restaurant called me and claiming they got the wrong check from my neighboring table to me so I paid $15 less. Well I did took a glance and saw the dishes we ordered were on the check, but I still decided to trust the restaurant since I didn’t really want to bother anyone for just $15 so I gave my credit card to the restaurant in the phone by their request which security wise wasn’t really wise. I still paid 20% + tips and even apologized that I should pay attention to the check more carefully, but shouldn’t be the restaurant apologizing to me that they got the check wrong??? I never heard it in the phone. For only $15 I would say just eat the cost for your own fault instead of calling customer for credit card info. Was going to give just 1 star but since food was overall good, I will give 3 stars for objectivity.

Great cocktails, entrees and main dishes. From the martinis and kir royales to the warm breath to foie gras to trout and duck and rabbit then millefeuille and sorbet. Wow!!! Great evening at Bistrot La Minette. ( wished waiter who was great spoke French)

There is a problem with salt. Tartare was over salted, escargot didn't have salt at all, although main course was very good. None of my guests complained about the main course but appetisers unfortunately have some issues. It's not bad but it's not the place you'd like to return, especially for a special event like birthday.
