Great food. Unbeatable prices. I will be coming back.Vegetarian options: Vegan options available. I ordered a vegetable dish and the kind lady at the counter made sure that it didn't cross contaminate with any non-vegan items.

Best gyro meat I've had in Philly so far. Everything tasted great and fresh. Fair prices too. Would recommend this place for sure

I loved the store itself!! We ordered the sandwich, pizza, and the chicken kebab platter. The sandwich was definitely the stand out. Omg I almost forgot the dessert, I wished we would have gotten a few. I think we would come back and maybe just order the two sandwiches.

Best grilled chicken and rice combo in the city. The Bitars Special sandwich is top notch.

I was in the neighborhood for an errand and was craving a falafel wrap- this hit the spot! Hummus was super tasty and I liked that the falafel was grilled, not too oily. The pickled radishes were also a nice touch.

I love that I can find groceries here as well as lunch. Good food, good service, good selection.

Wonderful place! I got the vegetarian falafel with a side of hommus and it was perfect! The atmosphere is relaxed and nicely decorated with a great selection of condiments and other items you can purchase. The owners were warm and friendly and I will definitely return!

Since the 70s Bitar’s has always been and still is the greatest in Middle Eastern sandwiches and groceries. The brothers who own it and run it are the best people and serve the community well. ?

The best & absolutely freshest . I have been coming here for years . The staff & the food is outstanding. It's worth a trip every time. Love Bitars ❤

I love this place. It is a great spot to grab some delicious Middle Eastern food or some of their packaged foods to take home and try yourself. It’s primarily for takeout but they have a few tables as well. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

I got delivery last night and wasn't notified by the driver when they dropped it off, by the time I realized it was there the fries were cold and soggy and the kebab was chewy and luke warm. I normally love the kebabs and don't mind the extra delivery fees, plus I tip a minimum of 20%, so I consider it a special treat paying 40% more than I would for a pick up order. Being 20 minutes late at the end of the night is no big deal, but just dropping my delicious dinner outside in the cold for anyone to grab, it was on the steps, not between the doors, which would have been much safer and warmer, really ruined my meal

Fantastic pita sandwiches. Definitely try the "special sandwich" with fries inside. So good. They also have delicious baklava and other small desserts, and the best hummus and pita for takeout. Definitely worth a stop.

I'm constantly craving meat on salad so I ordered the Greek salad with chicken. I also hoped to try their lentil soup, but who would guess that soup isn't available in the streaming hot Philly summer?! Oh... Yeah that makes sense. Anyways the portion of food was large, price was reasonable and I enjoyed it l eating it that night and even the soggy leftovers the next day. I'm a fan! The chicken was a little charred, which I don't love but I know is a style so I won't fault them for it

Try the Bitar sandwich! Great neighborhood spot, I eat here at least weekly. They have a well curated grocery selection too.
