This place looks like it's about to close down. The case was empty. I gave four stars because the server was very nice and he was working alone but did a very good job. The drink was okay

The feta and spinach pastry, though supposedly heated up, wasn't still cold in the middle and tasted as if it cane out of a vending machine. Staff nice. Few outlets for plugging in devices, though wifi good. Coffee solid but not extraordinary

The muffin was frozen after being toasted, and tasted like it was from Costco. The coffee was adequate. Also, they have this slogan and strange sign inside about pioneering the “fourth wave” of coffee and have co-opted language about feminism to try and self their coffee. It’s pretty offensive and kind of funny how tone deaf they are.

quality of the beverages (lattes) are so-so, and the prices are higher than other coffee shops around. on top of their already high prices, they also charge 3% surcharge for paying with a credit card. other nearby coffee shops' prices are more reasonable and there's no 3% cc surcharge. makes it difficult to want to leave a top, let alone, go there again...

$10 for a nondairy latte that just tastes like sugar and milk. Trash
the 90 minute limit is quite rude. In fact I have seen a few people come in and leave when they saw this sign because its stressful and not very welcoming to customers. I was approached and told to leave when I hadn't quite been there for 90 minutes yet, and was planning to leave after 90 minutes. Over 50 percent of the tables were free anyway so its not like there were people waiting to sit. It overall does not create a very comfortable environment.
Stumbled upon this coffee shop on a walk around the city. I got the bourbon reserve iced with oat milk and had to go back the next day!

I’ve found the coffee here to often taste burnt, which is disappointing given how inviting the rest of the menu looks. The savory tarts and pastries are really good, but the muffins and sweet snacks feel a bit too sweet for my taste. There’s definitely a lot of variety in flavors, but the prices are on the higher side. Paying $10 for a cup of coffee feels steep.
They recently started enforcing a 90-minute rule, which I can understand if the place is packed. But asking people to leave when the café is nearly empty feels unnecessary. The space itself is well set up, with extra seating downstairs, and the baristas are always warm and welcoming. Still, the number of rules posted everywhere gives the place a colder, less inviting feel, which takes away from the overall experience.
