So, I tried this place twice. My boyfriend got the food for me. The first time I got pepper steak, mac and cheese and cabbage. The pepper steak was good, but it was loaded with peppers and onions. It was more peppers then pepper steaks, which was kinda weird. But the little steak I had it was nice and tender and flavorful. The cabbage had vegetables in them {e.g., corn, peas} and this was my first time every having this. I did not like it at all.However, the Mac and Cheese hands down was very good. I mean a 10/10.My only issues are you go there for a dish and the dish is not ready. According to the guy "ITS MADE TO ORDER" and then that's about 20- 30 minutes from that point.The 2nd time I went I had jerk chicken. The inside of the chicken was a little pinker than what I wanted. The rice was a bit hard. So, I think after the 2nd time I want go back again, the complete meal has to be at least an 8 not just certain foods.

The bartender is BOMB! But the food...I mean...i order my usual as I would with Olive Branch...and it's just bleh...Chesapeake Pasta had no color nor flavor..oddly no veggies so i ordered a side of broccoli...a friend ordered the fried shrimp..mush like u would get from a pizza spot...i also ended up pouring butter all over my pasta thinking it was extra sauce cuz well WHY would pasta come with a side of butter?....id come back but id definitely tweek everything

Well, let me start from the beginning, the restaurant is a dump, they don’t know how to cook and their cream of crab soup tastes like a garbage. Yet, they charge 22% tips and a sure charge. I don’t recommend this dump.

So I love Jamaican food, preferably Curry goat. I was craving some for lunch today my and Blue Lagoon was less than a minute from job. I seen it had pretty good reviews but wanted to try for my self. I was not disappointed. The owner was very nice and Holds his service and food to a very high standard for his customers. He has a open kitchen so you can see everything in the back and it was so clean. I got a curry coat platter with rice and peas Mac and cheese and a Tingz grapefruit soda. Everything was delicious I had so much food, it ended up being my dinner too! Will definitely be back very soon! I spent about $23 on my food and drink and left him a $3 tip.

If you love fat platters to go this is the place to get it. You'll get your money's worth, it'll last 2 days .I go here every Friday lately ,we love it there. The meat is nice and tender .His sauce is so good his customer's say he should bottle it up and sell it separately. The vegetables are always banging.The rice & beans are cooked to perfection. Plus the owner is nice to talk if he's not too busy.

The best Jamaican food! If you are vegan you can get their sides and they do not make the j*** sauce with their meat!Great customer service, clean, food is so good and if you do eat meat this is one of the only Jamaican spots I know that has white meat.

I must say , I was pleasantly surprised. The Gentleman that I encountered was very friendly and told me I would love the food.He was correct! It's soo good. And it was dinner and lunch the next day..which made it a real bargain. LolI will absolutely refer this place to anyone and I will be back!

Just found this restaurant and it instantly became my favorite Jamaican/ Caribbean spot. Food is fresh, hot and incredible. The owner is great as well.
