Nice neighborhood bar. The hostess was welcoming and the service was great. We ordered the fried calamari to share. They were small and a bit chewy. Complimentary bread was nothing out of the ordinary. The linguini with mussels in white was fine but the linguini in red not so much. Mussels were small. Enjoyed the neighborhood ambiance but the food was just okay.

Everything was great! The food and service was amazing, no complaints. Our part considered moving to the small bar area to take advantage of the happy hour specials but decided not to. Instead we enjoyed the dining room which was comfortable and air conditioned. Bathroom was hot and I guess not air conditioned so that's one opportunity for improvement. I would definitely recommend and return.

This is an original "South Philly" eatery. Good food, waitresses that call you "Hun", the seating is adequate. There is a bar as you walk in with neighborhood regulars. Typical but these places are disappearing. Enjoy while you can. Parking is scarce and I didn't notice wheelchair access, because I wasn't looking for it, you may want to call.

Bomb Bomb is a fantastic old-school South Philly Italian joint with (if you can believe it), some of the best ribs around! We went in for Crab Fest and had both the spaghetti with Frankie's Famous Crab Gravy and a half rack of ribs. The portions are huge and we had plenty for lunch the next day too! Also, the service is great. It's cliche, but true when I say they treat you like family. Bomb Bomb is awesome!

First time here. This got so many rave reviews we wanted to try it out before the Phillies game. I ordered the chicken parm dinner. That was the toughest chicken I've had in a long time. My husband had the gnocchi w meatballs. He said it was just ok. There are so many South Philly, small restaurants near the stadiums, we will move on from this one. Our server was so very nice - I'm guessing the owner.

This place was lovely. We stopped by for one drink but stayed for two because of the people and atmosphere.

Hidden gem in the heart of South Philly serving Philadelphia for close to a century. Amazing, homemade Italian food, great specials and wonderful, family like, service !!! BONUS: ice box cake is a must !!! If you know, you know ?? ??❤️

So delicious. I got the cheese ravioli with meatballs and broccoli rabe on the side. It was so delicious I ate it alll. Calamari was delicious too and so were the bbq pork appetizers. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was not very busy so we got a table immediately. We even had dessert and we tried all three. They were so yummy!!!! I got the apple pie and that was my favorite dessert.

This local bar, known for its BBQ, and crab gravy, was a strange experience, to say the least. Arrived and seated at the pass btwn the bar and dining area, very tight pass. The mixed drinks were just OK. We ordered a steak special, crab cakes with a side of the crab gravy and pasta, and an order of ribs. I didn't taste the ribs, but was told they were pretty good. The steaks came, and were cold. Temps were both under and over, and what was supposed to be a filet, looked like a thinly cut strip, on sirloin. One was sent back for an under temp, came back correct, but was still strangely cold. The crab cake was heavy on the bread crumbs. The crab gravy was pretty good. Service is freindly, quaintly unprofessional, but very hectic. I will have to go back to try the ribs. It's a bit pricey for the experience.
