Best Indian restaurant in Philly don’t even waste your time elsewhere. Absolutely wipes the floor with the other UCity spots. The dudes that own it are chill too.

I ordered a delivery for Paneer Biryani, veg Manchurian and a tea ...I would say much better than the rest of indian places they serve the biryani while the rest of Philly is still under a false belief that they are having authentic Indian biryani....but anyways def munchiriain is not good at all , too mushy just dipped in canned sauce , chai was good not issue with that so over all a 3 only because of biryani and a descent tea ..

Really nice hole in the wall spot, highly recommend the chaat samosa, paneer pizza, mango lassi, and vada pav! Very well seasoned and cooked and spiced just right! Lots of vegetarian options!

Unfortunately the food didn’t meet my expectations. First time I’ve been to an Indian spot that I didn’t like. Food lacked flavor. It was supposed to have chicken in it and there was only a few chunks. Service was also not great. Unpleasant experience.

Great place for a quick lunch. Service is fast and the prices are very affordable. A curry entree and an order of naan is enough food for two people to share and costs less than $20
The food is really average. Ordered achari kathi roll and chola bhatura. Didn't like both of them. The kathi roll had no flavor and the bhatura was oily and had no fluff.

Ordered the pani puri to try, the smallest amount of potatoes was in the box, and they were stone cold, I'm glad that was all I ordered and I didn't waste more money! Would be very hesitant to try anything from here.

I tried a dish called Pani Puri (to go) for the first time, it was served in a very "casual" way, with no container for the "stuffing" which was just sitting loose around these pani puri. The taste was like it was old food. Very disapponting, way far from my expectations.

I don't think the portions are worth the prices. A $14 chicken gala with maybe 10 tender-sized pieces of chicken is pretty expensive. It also wasn't as flavorful or spiced as much as I'd hoped. If you like spicey their top spicy level is very mild.
