We ordered 1 hour to closing 3/222024 but when we got home the chicken drumsticks for both orders were not cooked properly. And has blood traces of blood from not being fully cooked. It’s probably because they were closing the orders were rushed. Will be calling in the morning because this was unacceptable and no one could eat anything. Very disappointed. The food is usually good.

$18 for 10 wings is absurd. They were small and over cooked. The Korean bbq flavor tastes like Chinese sweet and spicy sauce. Pay $3 for rice? Bulgogi fries had very little meat that was burnt and bland. It’s easily $30+ per person if u tip. Slow service, atmosphere seems like they want to be a bar, but does anyone come here for that? The Chinatown bonchon was great when it opened 10 years ago, but this location isn’t working, and the brand overall might be slipping in quality while raising prices. I guess the many other options out there are better now.

I recently came in to this establishment to try new food and see what it was like. The bartenders were great as well as the food; however when I politely asked the bartender if it was okay for them to turn the audio on to watch the NBA all-star game, the owner of the restaurant completely butted in and say no. When I asked why, said because no one wants to watch basketball on tv. He was only adamant about watchin the global sensation “BTS” and only that. I was the only person of color in the building. I felt comfortable. He then told me to look around to see the rest of the costumers and proceeded to say this is why we don’t watch basketball. He claims he knows his audience and bragged about how he has multiple locations and if I want to watch basketball to go somewhere else. So if you are African-American, I do not suggest going here.

i ordered a chicken wrap & i was in the restaurant for 30mins+ just for them to try to bring it out after i already lost my appetite & literally everyone in the restaurant ate before me… i also ordered wings after (half+half) & they were not playing when they said they have plain wings…. NOT ONE OUNCE OR TABLESPOON OF SEASONING JUST NASTY ALL AROUND the only thing that was good was the fries which came right after the drinks & the korean bbq chicken. Never going back

Just spent over 30 dollars for mix chicken wings and drumsticks, and coleslaw.Everything is disgusting ? not good at all very disappointing to say the least, drumsticks were bigger than turkey wings, which gives me the immediate indication of steroids being injected into the food. Very low quality. Coleslaw was sour to the taste as if it went off and they are still sailing it to the people. I will not ever go back to such an establishment again. Hopefully me or my family do not become sick by such food. Bon Chon all time low today 2/16/2024 get a new cooking Crew or better yet get better quality products to serve to your customers who spend their hard earned money. Last encounter from me good writtens... 39th and chestnutlocation...

I tried chicken and tteokbokki here. You can choose chicken in small, medium, and large sizes, and the small size costs about $15 for one person (picture attached). You can choose between Korean BBQ, Soy Galic, and Spicy sauce, but I personally recommend soy galic. You can also choose half and half sauce. Don't expect the taste to be the same as Kyochon Chicken, but if you go when you miss chicken a lot, you will be somewhat satisfied. (But the Coleslaw tasted better than I expected.) The tteokbokki was also really delicious, so I recommend it. The price is reasonable and the staff is so friendly that I would like to go again.

I wouldn’t eat at this location again. The usually great pickled raddish was spoiled rotten and reeked like garbage juice. yuck obviously expired but carelessly given to customers. I love bon chon but how are you letting that out the door? Makes me wonder what else goes on in this kitchen. I will avoid this university city location from now on.

Not the best Bonchon I’ve been to. Chicken had barely a coating of sauce on it and the meat was very fatty. Rice was undercooked.
