My now husband and I had our wedding ceremony at Bonk's on October 18th, and we could not have asked for a better experience! The guests of course raved about the food, which is always amazing. A big shout out to the staff and the owner Tim for making everything a breeze and giving us everything we imagined! If you need a venue for an event this is your spot! No stress and an amazing time. Great place for a beer, a meal, or to see a show. They have phenomenal food. Everything is fairly priced. They host events here weekly. Bands, performances, even a wrestling show as of recently. This is one of the best destinations in the neighborhood for food, drinks and live entertainment.

Food is really really good. I mean super great. It was very surprising. I'd call it a gem. I had the fried oysters and they're probably one of the best fried oysters I've ever had anywhere and I've lived in New York right in Manhattan and Hell's kitchen. I lived in Brooklyn. I've lived in North Carolina. I've lived in Virginia. I've lived in Atlantic City, Ocean City, New Jersey. I mean I've had them all over the place at almost every Jersey shore place and this place takes the Cake hands down. I had the chicken parm and the sauce was robust. Everything was really really good I would have given it a 5.0 on the food except the chicken parm came out like a little cold which was odd and then I wish they used semolina red. Other than that they nailed everything. Drinks were on point. The prices are great.

We had a great time at Bonks. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. The bartender was our server and he was on top of everything. We had the Calamari, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and the Fish & Chips and we were very happy and would order any of it again. The Fish & Chips was a great portion size! Can’t wait to try more menu items!
Parking: Had no trouble finding street parking on a Saturday night.
